surreal trellis
This is one of those annoying intermittent issues where I haven't been able to nail down an exact pattern, its been happening for months at least.
Sometimes when watching a Twitch stream in Brave browser, 7TV seems to stop working.
By that, I mean for example that:
- "pause/play" on click in the video stream stops working,
- non native Twitch emotes don't return when using ":" in the chat box (eg anything peepo, Pepe, etc don't come up, but native Twitch emotes do),
- mouse hover over channel names in the sidebar shows a blank bar popping out to the right side (instead of the thumbnail and stream title showing in that popout),
- and sometimes emotes stop showing too (eg "KEKW" displayed in chat instead of the emote).
I usually just refresh or open the stream in a new tab which resolves it all, though occasionally I have to do that twice before all starts working again.
Unfortunately I haven't found more of a pattern to nail down possible causes yet. Has anyone else had the same issue or got any ideas for resolving it permanently?
