#Follow button gone?

can confirm, the buttons are not visible regardless of settings.
My guess is that twitch is probably changing some stuff on the site again at the moment with both the follow button and the sidebar stream preview thumbnails suddenly breaking.
disable hide react button

You're right, it's the hide react button setting
It looks like Twitch removed the react button themselves now, that's why the settings are broken.
That's probably also why even with the hide react button option disabled it breaks some layout stuff now (e.g. unfollow button being way too wide).
@sonic needle @cold flicker Maybe one of you can take a look at this
I’ll take a look when I have time
are you saying it's broken with both settings disabled?
With both settings disabled it looks like in the screenshot, yes
I think the hide unfollow button setting still works as intended
did you have any other settings enabled? like hide notification button?
oh yes, I did notifications were hidden as well
huh, the behavior is a bit strange
Let me try to screen record it for you
so the hide live notification definitely somehow causes the unfollow button to be too wide
I see, this weird metadata button behavior seems to have always existed
I guess the main thing that should be adjusted for the original problem in this thread is to remove the option to hide the react buttons, since this one now removes all the other buttons (notifications, follow/unfollow) regardless of their own settings.
From what I have heard so far, the react feature is gone for good now anyways
yes, I'll be most likely submitting that
since the fix for the other "issue" is basically having to reimplement that logic (and probably having to hook into those components instead)
the rest is just some minor visual stuff anyways, so that's fine
