7TV emotes not working in Twitch's embedded chat

I am using these chats on my webpage but the 7TV emotes wont work on it, but they do work within a real twitch page.

7TV currently does not support embedded chats. As the extension is going to be rewritten, this feature will most likely only be implemented then. You can follow it's progress over at https://github.com/SevenTV/SevenTV

Thanks, I assume one day the ext will auto update and I will just notice them working most likely?

Is there any update on 7TV working in embedded chats?
