I've also had this issue for many months now. For context I initially had the 7tv and twitch profiles linked, then linked the 7tv profile to a tertiary profile, I don't recall which. Following that I unlinked/deleted the twitch profile from the 7tv profile. I am now unable to access my 7tv profile in any way. Disconnecting form SevenTV in twitch settings and reconnecting through either the extension or the 7tv.app site does not fix the issue.

this is happening because your twitch is not linked

#

when you are trying to log in with twitch, its not linked to your 7tv account anymore, so it tries to create a brand new 7tv account

#

but this fails by a safety measure because it tries to make an account with the same name as your old one

#

you need to relink your twitch account to your 7tv account

#

the service wont let you unlink unless you have already another connection bound

#

so you need to first log in with whatever that other connection is

#

and then relink once you're logged in

I think my other linked profile was YT, which does not seem to be functioning with 7tv atm (any attempt to use 7tv with YT in any way resulted in a '503 service unavailable' error). I made a new twitch account, linked it to a new 7tv account, then linked a kick account and unlinked the twitch, and linked my old twitch. Works great now, even have my personal emotes list back which i accidentally deleted a while back.
