Twitch Username Not Syncing, Personal Emotes

Describe the issue
Changed username on twitch but still shows old username on 7tv website, lost access to personal emotes. Was thinking I had to remove the personal emotes set and create a new one because that was linked to the old username, but alas. Thought I had to re-subscribe to force 7tv to grab the new username.

Steps to Reproduce
Change username on twitch, cleared cache/cookies on browsers for 7tv thinking it was just cached.
Regarding personal emotes, red trash button.
Unsubscribed, tried to subscribe after but gave me Error 70410

Expected Behavior
For 7tv to sync on new twitch auth login and override the db with current information from twitch.
Also be able to create a new personal emotes set.

@prisma sandal 7tv usernames are not the same thing as twitch usernames, at the moment you can't change your 7tv username. Only thing that will change is your twitch connection and for it to update you just need to log out and log back in to the 7tv website.

Resubscribing is possible only after your current sub expires. So you just have to wait for that.

And as for the emote set it is currently not possible to recreate new personal set.

But both username update and personal emote set creation should be available after the website redesign, which hopefully should happen by the end of a year

But after the username change the personal emotes stopped working and even after log out and back in didn't fix that. Guess I'll have to wait for the end of the year

Yea no that doesn't work, it was the first thing I did. Did it again now just to check, even removing cookies on twitch and 7tv.

I also changed my username back in January and have signed out many times but 7TV still won't update to my current username. Very frustrating

Your 7tv username wont change its currently not possible, only thing that will update is twitch connection

im curious on that, other websites like bttv/frankerz have no issues changing usernames why 7tv
again im not upset just trying to figure out why is it not possible? 7tv seems more advance

that's what I'm saying. my twitch username changed in january and it refuses to update on 7TV's end.

It's the way the current website is structured, the new website will allow you to change it, but it's just started it's development

look at the upper left of your own screenshot, it still has the_ before it which was my old name

also all emotes i upload are attributed to my old name
