Linking Kick to 7tv creates a new 7tv account | 7TV | Page 1

Problem:
I downloaded the newer 7tv extension "7tv Nightly" and so I used the onboarding feature and made sure kick was selected. When I went to go to kick I refresh the page to see the 7tv icons pop up. After that I click the 7tv button in the top right next to my kick pfp where it tells me to connect to 7tv. Doing that created me a fresh 7tv account which is named "delete_1220" and made my kick account linked to this new new 7tv account when I wanted it to be linked to a specific account named "aahw" so I could use my paints and all that.

Possible Cause:
So what I think caused this, was the extension didn't detect that I was already signed into a 7tv account in my browser, leading it to automatically creating a fresh account.

Attempted fix/error codes:
So I realized this issue quickly so my thought was to just unlink my kick and then attempt to relink my kick to my actual 7tv account but I had 2 error codes overtime of trying to do this, one of them said "Don't Be Silly "Cannot unlink the last connection, that would render your account inaccessible" which I understand what it means since that was the only connection to the account. The other error code I got which I took a screenshot of was "Error 70403" "Insufficient Privilege" I was going to try to see if I could just delete the account in general but I couldn't find a way to do so.

Possible Solution:
So I think if we could get the 7tv account "delete_1220" deleted I would be able to redo this process and this time I will make sure I'm signed into the 7tv account in my browser I want linked to my kick so it won't just create me a new 7tv account.

So I managed to reattempt linking Kick and 7tv by deleting the weird string of numbers in my Kick's "About Me" panel. I believe that string was generated by the 7tv extension during the linking process. I then reinstalled 7tv's browser extension, and followed the installation guide a second time.

This, again, created a new Kick 7tv account rather than link Kick with the old one. However, this new Kick-linked 7tv account has emote-adding privileges, unlike the defunct one I ended up with before.

Granting editor status to my Twitch 7tv account doesn't allow the otherwise convenient migration of my emote pack with one button click, but at least now I can add emotes manually. Took me like 40 minutes to add the nearly 500 emotes I had on Twitch, 20 tabs at a time. pepeW

Not a solution, but at least I have 7tv emotes on my Kick channel and that's all I care about really.

well it's due to 3rd party cookies being disabled
