#Alternating Colors Clashing w/ FrankerZ

So I'm not going to lie.. the chat seperating of alternating colors, lines, padding etc, is superior in FrankerZ.

I see the option is in 7TV. Even with it disabled in 7TV, it blocks FrankerZ.

Can this be fixed? If the option is disabled in 7TV, then FrankerZ options for splitting chat can be used?

So 7TV is blocking and overriding the FrankerZ settings. Which I guess I understand if the option is turned ON in 7TV, but if the option is turned OFF in 7TV, then why are the FrankerZ options not being used?

For me to get the FrankerZ options to be used for splitting chat, I have to disable/Remove 7TV.

Tested on Windows 11, Microsoft Edge/Chrome (latest stable) and Firefox (latest stable). Same in both browsers.

Also I think I chose the right tag? At least I hope I did, sorry if I didn't, I didn't see one that said affects Chat.

Edit... if this needs a seperate ticket, please let me know I'll make one..

7TV also overrides FrankerZ custom highlight options. I have FrankerZ set to highlight my name in a particular color. 7TV overrides that and puts it back to Twitch Default.

If I don't have anything set in 7TV for custom highlighting it should use FrankerZ shouldn't it?

The 7tv extension overwrites the chatbox, chatbox related settings from other extensions will not go into effect

Yeah I have that turned on. And it does an amazing job. I just wish it had line seperators from FrankerZ too

So I assume it overriding the chatbox explains why my Highlights are not pulling from FrankerZ too

You can try requesting it in the integrations thread in #v3-help but it seems like such a minor feature that will probably be very low priority

7TV has a feature that FrankerZ and BTTV doesn't have... the 'Bypass Duplicate Message Checl'.

It comes in very handy for Twitch Plays Pokemon where inputs need to be spammed.
