for some reason after a while of having a stream on; writing emotes makes the chatbox pretty laggy for me and seems to do the same for others I've talked to (it's quite obvious when you write messages).

the highlights feature seems to highlight terms in words. for example my name being recycle bin, some call me recycle others call me bin and I usually had both highlighted.
Now if someone writes bind or whatever word that has "bin" in it; it instantly highlights the word. I messed around with the settings but didn't seem to find a solution besides "case match" (which kinda becomes a bit tedious to setup and its more of a QoL, but its one feature I kind of miss from ffz

an emote search bar would also be super nice to have

The emote menu should already have a searchbar, if you don't see it make sure that Emote Menu: Live Input Search is Disabled
live input search makes the searchbar the chatbox itself, which you may or may not prefer
