Stop overriding other extensions features

Describe the issue

In general - if I choose to disable some option, don't put it in some default mode that 7tv extensions uses, JUST DONT DO ANYTHING WITH IT. Also there is some changes that extension does and there is nothing in options even to revert it back to native.
Everything was fine until recent update on 27 of march.

Few examples:

1. I used bttv extension "readable colors", 7tv extension doesn't even have this option or something similar, BUT it disables the one that bttv has.
2. Hovering over username used to underline its name, now it doesn't.
3. No options for how deleted/timedout/banned messages displayed, but it overrides the one i use in different extension or native twitch.
4. Changed progress bar on prediction banner.

and some other small ones but its still annoying.

Where does the issue happen
Windows10, chrome, twitch website chat

Steps to Reproduce
Enable extensions and check what it changes and if it can be reverted back through options.

Expected Behavior
I expected this extension to not change something without an option to revert it back or don't override other extensions.

p.s. New "Mod Logs" feature is pretty cool

v3 extension rewrites the entire chatbox, so chatbox-related settings from other extensions will do nothing on the new extension. The rewritten chatbox aims to increase performance and (eventually) integrate key 7tv site features like changing cosmetics, adding/removing emotes from within chat without visiting the site, etc

Devs are trying their best to make the extension compatible with others but it's kinda a lot to expect when the other extensions are also trying to override 7tv

If you'd like to suggest integrating features from other extensions to prevent overriding, you can suggest them in the integrations thread in #v3-help

I want to add that 1. "readable colors" is a native twitch feature, which is still accessible via the native chat options.
3. is already confirmed to be in a future version of 7tv.
4. I don't see any changes to that.

thx for sharing didn't even realize this. To me, that's a minor change not even notable, but I respect if you don't have the same opinion.

look how text and background is more readable without 7tv

and color red is so bad in 7tv

I see it's different, but both are completely readable. What's the issue besides it was different before?

these work fine for me. could be a compatibility issue with other plugins

However, this is the first version to be fully released to everyone. If there's too much missing in your opinion, you could disable 7tv for some time, until it fits your needs again. you can still enable 7tv emote compatibility via ffz. I can't really recommend that but it looks like the only possible solution for you atm.

yea I agree on that. there's room for improvement

hmm... native readability doesn't change my chat at all. Maybe my assumption, that it still works, was wrong. But I'm sure anatole integrated that feature in the beta

@cinder idol v3 is as close as possible to actual native twitch chat. The reason it may look different now is because ffz and bttv are based on older iterations of native twitch chat. Ffz specifically is a build of 2019 native twitch chat. Very outdated.

If you don't like the way it looks you can always just remove the 7tv extension and enable 7tv emotes on bttv or the add-on for ffz

this is a conflict with ffz. It can be fixed with FFZ -> Debug -> Disable chat proccessing

yeah sorry for being a nuisance, its just that i really liked 7tv feature with showing detailed ban duration

and mainly was using it only for emotes+that

and now so much changes its annoying and feels worse for me

also timeout duration on right click for mods was very nice

there was a lot on the backend causing conflicts and causing extra usage. The v2 cosmetics system also was very expensive to run and needed to be changed asap. That's why v3 was made

There's plenty of time for new updates and changes to be made, it's only v3.0.2

In the mean time you can suggest features from other extensions in the integration thread in #v3-help

At the end of the day, change isn't always bad

Just gotta get used to it
