#Not showing artist credits on emotes and can't see FFZ custom badges

Pretty much that. I've seen it's very common for newer updates on these type of extensions to not show the artist credit info on the emote showcase once we click it. This has been helping a lot of artist so I'm not sure if it's a bug or not but it'd be nice to consider. I also noticed that I can't see custom FFZ badges from other channels nor mine, not sure if this is intentional but it is something I liked as well.
I like 7TV but taking artists credits away it's a huge no-no imo if it's intentional.

EDIT: I also can't seem to find a way to turn normal emotes to their normal 28x28 px size. I do prefer to see them this way as it's a good method to test since not everyone uses 7TV.

FFZ is experiencing the same issues because Twitch recently made it impossible for 3rd party extensions to open the emote card popup

so we need to replace it with our own, but not all of the information about the emotes are available to us

For the second issue, this is not something that 7tv changes

emotes are always shown at their intended size respective to the platform they were uploaded on

BTTV and Twitch emotes have a native size of 28x28

but FFZ and 7TV emotes have native sizes of 32x32

the emotes in chat will always be shown at whatever size the provider gives us

BTTV just shows the normal twitch window at the moment. Won't that be better for the moment for 7TV as well until a fix it's available? I've asked in their channel as well and I got the same response but it's been months since the issue started.

I mean normal twitch emotes that we upload to twitch, not the custom 7TV/BTTV/FFZ emotes. It seems to be happening only to some emotes though and only when I have 7TV active.

As for the FFZ's custom mod and VIP badges, it seems to be working if I mix FFZ and BTTV but they go back to normal twitch badges when I activate 7TV only.

BTTV doesn't replace the chat like 7TV and FFZ do, they're able to just let twitch handle the emote cards, but we cannot

also your issue may be that the channel you're looking at has a 7TV emote

with the same name as one of their sub emotes

I can assure it doesn't because it's one of my own emotes

It seems like it's fine now with just 7TV

so it might be a compatibility problem with either BTTV or FFZ so I'm checking that

also could be a oneoff browser bug

we don't force the size of images

but the browser may be incorrectly choosing a higher size image to display

seems like it's working now? I was able to get it consistently before so it might be a problem that happens by activating some apps in a specific order since it seems like someone else had a problem with FFZ's emote window having privilege over 7TV depending on the order they activate each app

I think that was probably just missed during integration

I use to not have a problem with the badges and they would show normally in the older 7TV version until I updated to the recent one.
Restarted the browser a couple times, uninstalled and re-installed but they don't show. I know other people in the newer 7TV version that also has the same issue.

7TV - 3.0.0.
BetterTTV - 7.5.3.

another thing I do wanna point out that I just noticed, I don't think it's a great idea to only show the 7TV emotes on the channels without showing the channel's emotes as well. Sure you can change the tab but they are like... 4 tabs away.
IMO there should be one option to show these in the same default tab:
1s option: Channel emotes -> 7TV -> others
2nd option: Channel emotes -> 7TV
3rd option: Like it is at the moment

Being able to see the order of which these appear would be great too but that's probably a lot of work. As of the moment, the new update seems a bit inconvenient chat wise so if there's no way to downgrade to the older version I'll wait until the full release.
