Hey team!
ISSUE: 7tv ping settings override FFZ and BTTV, even if the addon is fully uninstalled from my browser. If 7tv is turned off, no highlights show up.
Where does the issue happen
Browser: Firefox and Chrome (I'm sorry I don't understand API and all of that :X)
Screenshots attached:
Steps to Reproduce
Enable Highlights in FFZ
FFZ Settings:
__CHAT > FILTERING > GENERAL __
select 'Highlight messages that mention you.'
select 'Highlight matched words in chat.'
set a custom highlight color (mine is rgba(65, 117, 5, 0.81) )
CHAT > FILTERING > HIGHLIGHT > TERMS
set some terms you want to be pinged for. mine are all variations of my username.
Enable pin messages in BTTV
search 'pinned highlights'
toggle ON 'Pin your highlighted messages above chat'
Expected Behavior
When a chatter writes my name or one of the many variations of my name/nickname in twitch chat, I expect to see a highlighted block of text in a lovely green color. I also expect with a proper @twilit snow that BTTV will PIN the message above the chat window for a time (I'm a boomer and this gives me a second to catch up on any messages I missed).
Troubleshooting I've Tried
I tried the following options
-toggled 7tv setting on and off, reloaded and retested pings
-removed 7tv extension from Firefox browser and reloaded entirely
-update and refresh FFZ settings
-install 7tv, BTTV, and FFZ in chrome and tested all of the above in Chrome as well.
