Describe the issue
After 7tv just updated, I am having a pop up telling me there are multiple instances of 7tv running. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall but this pops up every time. I can't use anything related to 7tv at the moment.
Where does the issue happen
Firefox Browser version 111.0.1

The app automatically updated while I had streams open with 7tv running

i believe this is due to firefox caching old files, in most cases a full browser restart should fix this

how big is your firefox profile dir
theres a global cross site limit
if you've used any idb heavy web apps
it might be full

might be good that we display some kind of error window when IDB errors out
with suggestions of what to do to fix

that lets you clear out some things from the extensions storage
or everything

I don't actually cache any info on firefox because twitch bogs down bad
dont save cookies or anything

it's new, previously it didnt do anything fancy but in 3.0 it uses a database to reuse resources across tabs

if you've got granular control it only needs IndexedDB
you can leave localstorage and cookies

literally, the only way to get 7tv working is uninstalling 7tv and enabling 7tv emotes through bttv, just wished there was a rollback feature
