#Tried to link Discord but it made a new account and i can't access it

I tried to link my discord to my account, but it just made a new account.

I was still logged into my twitch account and when I tried to link my discord to this account, I am unable to since it is already linked to that new account.

I wanted to try to log into that discord account, but the site only allows log in via Twitch. So I am unable to unlink my discord from this new account.

  1. create a new twitch account.
  2. on 7tv right click the login button and select "use discord"
  3. you should be logged into your account that only has your discord linked. now go ahead and link the twitch account you just made to this account
  4. now that you have another account linked you can go ahead and remove your discord from your 7tv account.
  5. now log out of both 7tv and the new twitch account. then on twitch login to your normal main account
  6. try logging into 7tv again like normal by clicking login and you should be able to access your account again
