See this has been talked about before (7TV, FFZ Plugin) or In the works just wanted to post this here for others to see

See FFZ has a Audio Compressor figure which is really good makes silent streams so much better without turning up to max Unmuted this figure would make
7TV even more amazing then it is now if it was added FeelsGoodMan I'm sure alot of people would feel the same too

Since it's just like a chromium thing, implementing one for 7TV wouldn't be too hard I don't think

BUT the thing with all these compressors is that their defaults are not optimal so I don't bother with them

So maybe if 7TV were to add their own, I could design the default preset

My issue is that the defaults are not ideal IMO

If I were to pick defaults (I spent many hours yesterday carefully designing these), I would pick -70 threshold, ratio of 7:1, 40 dB knee, 0 attack, 1 second release (which is the max afaik), but the most important part is the makeup gain. It would need to be about 300% boost or 9.5 dB. Whichever value it takes natively is fine. (Optionally it could be -77 dB threshold)

I know 300% is technically 9.542425094 dB and 9.5 dB is technically 298.5382619% but I'm rounding a bit

imagine if the values were tweakable by dragging points on the curve. It would be like a professional DAW plugin at that point.

pls compressor :3
just removed FFZ in case it interferes.
compressor is SUPER useful, sometimes a streamer has the game vol super low and you cant hear anything but their voice, without compressor

I know i use it all the time on my laptop. Its the only way i can hear the stream on it

just run your system audio through a DAW
