This is driving me up the wall, the beta 7tv chat imitates twitch by being able to bring previously sent messages back into the chatbox by pressing up, the problem is it does this even if your currently typed message is multiple lines thick and you wanna hit up to edit an earlier part of the message.
What make this even worse is that it doesn't have the twitch feature of holding onto your unsent message, so when say for instance you accidently do this and hit down to undo it your old unsent message is still there waiting for you. How is should work is if your cursor is it the bottom of the textbox multiple lines deep hitting up should travel you up line by line and when it's at the top and you continue hitting up then is starts showing you previously sent messages
