My issue is that my old username contains my deadname in it and it gives me anxiety so I can't even use 7tv until its changed, so having it reflect my current username would be amazing

If you don't have any paints/badges you care about, you can try unlinking your Twitch from your current 7TV account, then logging in with your current one. Cannot guarantee it'll work.

You might have to link a Discord account for it to work.

Just tried that, linking discord and unlinking twitch and logging in and out but my name stays the same. I appreciate the suggestion

i think you need to unlink your twitch and then try to login with your twitch again and it should make you a new account
