#Variant Emotes

Something like this?
Well those are for versions
which are intended to be used exclusively for "updates" to the emote
rather than seasonal variants
the "variant" feature has been requested before
but it ends up being difficult to implement, because any given emote won't have only 1 variant
Yeah, here is versions, but, this is good place to put variants emotes
Maybe this working like:
-> Owner can add other variant of this emoji
-> Another person can request add another variant of this emoji
-> A moderator can move a variant to an existing emote
But maybe it's easy to write down, and it's worse with the implementation of such an update

IMO the best implementation (the only one that would work in all situations) is to just allow searching for emoteName + seasonName
like ZULUL + Christmas
that makes it easy enough to find
yeah, this sound the best option
Unless I'm stupid, currently it's not possible to search for emote name and a tag at the same time
Yeah, only ignore tags
i thought version = variant
But, if you put tag in search then searched emotes with that tag
^ what i did, still dont see why we need variant
Oh..
So we are waiting for the ability to search emotes with tags
ye multiple tag search would be fantastic for this
a way to scroll between versions from the search preview could be useful too, that way you don't have to open the emote to see the variations
sorry for making this and then not replying, i had exams. finding christmas variants of popular emotes are easy but finding Christmas variants for emotes like HUH (the cat one) is not as easy unless you know a channel that has it.
for example: someone can attribute that the emote they are uploading is a variant of another emote. then you would have a button on the original emote that says ''variants'' and you click on it and you find multiple variants of HUH
a christmas version of the cat emote is one of the top emotes when you search for 'huh'
something along those lines is planned
oh i didnt see it
it was just an example i couldnt think of other emotes
