Was chatting with a few people in a streamer's twitch chat and we thought it'd be a great idea to have badges, like the mod/sub badges in twitch chat, that when you hover over display a user's chosen pronouns to avoid misgendering and generally be more inclusive. It'd be great if the badge could be togglable either globally or per-channel because obviously having a she/her badge could lead to some harassment in certain communities but as a woman myself, it'd be nice to not have to correct people as much and having a simple badge would really help with that. I'm open to discussion on this obviously and want the feature to be considered, and I'd be more than happy to engage to find a way that's easy to implement and doesn't impact the chat experience much, if at all.

PronounDB is a browser extension that helps people know each other's pronouns easily and instantly. Whether hanging out on a Twitch chat, or on any of the supported platforms, PronounDB will make your life easier.
already a thing
you can enable the addon in ffz's settings
I was told, was just thinking it's not much help if it's got a niche userbase. Having it baked in to 7tv would make it easier because people wouldnt need to install a whole separate plugin that most people wouldnt bother with. If it were in 7tv it'd just reach a wider audience and be much more inclusive globally
oh damn didnt know it was in FFZ, will look into that then. Is it baked in to FFZ by default?
its integraded with ffz
no poitn to make ita 7tv feature
you enable it here and in their website you set yours
oh awesome. How intrusive is that in chat? does it take up a bunch of space or is it the size of the sub badges?
looks like this
hmmm it is a little big. Might look into seeing if they have a suggestion box of their own but it's good to know it at least exists. TY for all the help <3
