Personal emotes + the ability to disable them from your channel

since personal emotes are in development , We should add a way to disable them from certain people , or completely disable them on a channel

it will be possible to opt out of seeing personal emotes on your own screen, haven't thought about a channel disabled yet (i feel it's unnecessary)

I'd say it isn't unnecessary. Too much troll potential with NSFW Emotes for example. Could make big channels completely disable 7tv for their channel.

likewise the guidelines are going to be significantly stricter than for regular channel emotes

there will be restrictions on wideness, any sexual suggestivity (no bait or anything misconstruable as sexual), political (any controversial figure, including those like mao or stalin), flashy / seizure inducing,etc. Basically nothing remotely controversial is going to be accepted as personal, in the realm of reasonability

not going to be the wild west as channel emotes are, might actually end up being stricter than twitch

will there be a toggle for creators to choose whether their emote can be used as a personal emote?
