I don't think that's how that works legally though. The emotes are technically someone's work, and they could come knocking at any point, if they can prove they were the original author. I kinda think forcing emotes into "public domain" status by stripping them of authors would increase the likelihood of legal action. 7TV's ToS says this:
and later "You shall have sole responsibility for the accuracy, quality, integrity, legality, reliability, appropriateness, and intellectual property ownership or right to use of all submitted Content"

So we have the word "versions" for emotes already. The word is fine IMO but we also need a different word like "variants" for holiday versions and distinct versions that aren't merely "improvements"
The problem is the word variants looks very similar to versions

currently, Cycles can only do manifold next event estimation which means the caustics are only visible in the direct path of a shadow
so the above scene wouldn't look right

LuxCore has a light cache to do "caustics" on the table immediately underneath the base of the glass
those are SDS caustics
without a cache, it would be dark
