Now we have to open at least 30x100 Mega Claw for 50k dust. 100gold vs 3000 gold. ofc you get so much thing while u r grinding 50k dust but why should I end up spending money on things I’ll never use, when what I actually want to use is something else entirely?
The methods to collect cosmetics and cosmetics themselves have always been subject to change. We will never tell you how to spend your money. The message above explains why the way to collect cosmetics had to change. Will post again below.

1) Ease for Free-to-Play Players: We want free-to-play players to obtain items more quickly, which the new system supports.
2) Cosmetic Differentiation: There should be a clearer distinction between free-to-play and paid players in terms of cosmetics.
3) Ad-Free Experience: Keeping the game 100% free and ad-free remains a priority.

Cosmetics: Some players are unhappy with the new way to obtain cosmetics. We based our decisions on feedback and engagement data, and we’re not done improving these systems.
Incentive for Older Players: Some older free-to-play players feel less incentive to play. While we strive to balance free content and monetization, we need to maintain sustainability.
Gameplay Rewards: Rewarding certain gameplay styles has led to issues like botting and griefing. We are exploring ways to incentivize proper gameplay without negatively impacting the experience.
Value of Free-to-Play: The perception of the game being free-to-play is mixed. While our goal was to reach as many players as possible, we recognize the differing views and will consider this in future decisions.
We are continually making improvements and appreciate your patience as we roll out updates to support Goose Goose Duck.
which cosmetics is free? and ads is a way to earn money for the game and for players to havé things for free, its annoying but usually u can pay for a no ad version like in netflix. also a membership could also cover a certain amount. A lot of player are ready to put some money to have a better game expérience, but if its to earn dust or duplicate items, and to havé something we dont want... how much it cost to get what we want? a few thousands? a console game is 90$ one time fee and a lot of people cant afford that in 2026. Its not going so well in the economy for all of us.. I mean there are probably other ways to explore how to stay substainable as a game.

There are pros and cons to all forms of monetization, that is why we say we are never done continuing to implement and make changes to systems. No free to play game has mastered monetization. The goal of Free to Play is to make the game as accessible to as many players as possible, especially during the hard times that were happening when the game first released (pandemic), our goal has always been to keep players connected.
We once tried the ad route a while ago, overwhelmingly received negatively. While some would be willing to pay an extra fee to remove the ads, majority would not and ads would get in the way of gameplay and people having fun. Playing is more fun than ads. Again pros and cons, and our team is always taking a look and talking internally.
Adjusting monetization method also means that we have to remain fair to the community both that support through premium methods and those that support through F2P. For example the Flight Pass, while players can unlock cosmetics just by playing, premium players can unlock the premium rewards of the flight. Then collecting silver by just playing to work towards the dust shop.
Epic Games (Fortnite) just laid off 1000 employees
While its great games can be free to play with optional cosmetics, the game at the end of the day needs to be sustainable and we're no where near the size of that team.
I really like this game, as I liked pokémon go at first, but when they started to charge for distance pass and dont give them for free once a week I lost interest and all m'y friends also... the idea was good at the beginning to give access to rural places and bad wheater places or pandemic restrictions..
they should keep the first idea in mind

We're always thinking about making games fun and accessible, but at the same time unfortunately we need to introduce ways to keep the servers running
and we do take all the constructive criticism seriously and listen to everything. That's why we have these channels where the team can hear feedback directly 
I just wonder about all the money being left on the table by middle range players. I hope one day there is a way to capture that market and achieve all your company goals.
Something we're always thinking about and taking into consideration
have been a roleplay player since 2010. I have experience in many roleplay games and servers. In GTA 5 FiveM, I have over 3000 hours of playtime. In games like ToS and Among Us etc, I have more than 4000 hours. This is honestly the most fun game I have ever seen. The missions and game dynamics are excellent. I do have some criticisms regarding the costumes, but for a free-to-play game to survive, paid cosmetics are necessary. Thanks to Thor’s responses to my criticisms, I now understand this much better.
I want to address the developers: please never stop improving this game and continue making it even better. As someone with experience in many games, I also have a suggestion. If the balance between monetization and the free-to-play experience is not handled well, many games end up fading away. Right now, you are very close to achieving that balance. Please keep it up. Thank you to the game designers, developers, and the entire team for your hard work.
@forest marten I appreciate you being part of the conversation, I believe we covered that operations can be quite expensive and that in order to keep going, the game needs a sustainable system in place.
Everyone is allowed to have an opinion and not everyone is going to like or agree with everything but we have these spaces to voice constructive feedback and constructive criticism and to have these conversations with the community. I think we've covered this topic quite well and its always going to be an ongoing conversation when it comes to monetization and sustainability.
i like the game but theres only claw machines that dont give 100% the items i want. it were better when you add like something where you get 100% something. not something like dust that needs a long time to get

Which item are you looking for? If it was part of a limited time event/flight pass/claw machine it likely is not going to be in a dust shop rotation (though not impossible)
Rotations allow more offerings, if everything that is eligible in the dust shop was displayed all once at once it was quite overwhelming. New items added to the dust shop would also go unnoticed
not a event/flight pass or claw machine item 5 weeks ago it stays on dust shop for 2 weeks but i didnt have enough dust that time
im scared to tell you the item name cuz if you dont like me it wont come for 3 more weeks 😂😂😂

Me and my friends played Goose Goose Duck and we all had a great time. We tried out different roles, 2 different maps, and the prox chat is awesome. I love the fact that you can just play non stop, if I had to say one thing I didn’t like, it was when you pick a new map it forces you to a new hub and some players might get kicked out. It’s not a huge problem so much as it’s just a little inconvenient. Overall I love the gameplay and the mechanics along with the cool customization you can have with your Goose

Due to the “Goosechapel” map on the Turkey server, other great maps unfortunately do not receive enough attention. If you check the rooms created on the Turkey server, you will notice that there are almost no rooms using maps other than Goosechapel %90. For this reason, temporarily removing the Goosechapel map from the Turkey server in order to increase map variety would be very beneficial for the diversity of the game.
I don't think removing content from players is the right approach. If players in Turkey prefer Goosechapel, why remove it?
If you'd like to play on another map may I recommend hosting a lobby. #lfg-türkçe is a great place to find people to play with as well
Public lobbies with chat translations is also a good option 
translation lobbies ate reeeeealy good ngl. buy turkish lobbies are stuck at gooschapel.

Hewwo. I gotta say I'm not that avid player cause I'm mostly friendless (and playing with people I don't know is kinda hard for me), but I watch a lot of GGD from others, Max specially, and I just wanted to give the feedback about the art in general
Every single map is absolutely beautiful, both he themes, but also just the whole "decorations" and concept as a whole, I think I never saw a game with such variety of maps and still maintaining immersion with each map, like selecting a map is more than just "where A and B is" but just changes the whole vibe of the game and because the geese can be anything with the (also amazing) clothing, it even opens space for RP, with the roles changing by map too.
The cartoon style of this game is amazing, detailed enough to be unique and it open space for more cosmetics, ideas and maps, but also simple enough it's not overwhelming making the gameplay of the game shine more, please keep up
Also I wanna suggest a map in the middle of the sea too just because I'm a pirate in my heart ;p (like pirate ships connected)

Since the Event Cosmetics system has been reworked, will more collections be added to the Dust Shop in the future?
Right now, the Dust Shop seems to keep rotating through the same older collections. It feels like a good time to start adding some newer items as well.
Another idea would be to hold a voting event: on a fixed day each month, you could bring back a limited-time selection of collections chosen by player vote.
Some cosmetics may make a return in some way or another, others will not.
Love the new roles. Lucid Dreamer sounds soooo OP. Can't wait to try them in game

Is there a specific reason Lost Duckling can’t be paired with mimic? I think the pair could bring some hilarious moments to lobbies.
If both the mimic and lost duckling spawn together there would be no way for the other ducks to know this

i like how this game is turning out so far its really good tho some things do feel they need to be polished other than that i love how well this game is turning out :3
tho if i had 1 suggestion it would be to add sight adjustments on the cuckoo and the raven cuz so far they are the only roles i noticed that dont have sight adjustments and sometimes i would mess up with seeing things at infinite vision and outs me too often

I think Carrier/Parasite are on the weaker side even with +1 duck and -1 goose, in 1 round you can figure out who is the Parasite, because no one saw you. Even if a duck says yes, at the end, just that player is an alibi and something like "Go to ___ So I can see you" falls apart. For me, it could be just public to everyone who is the Parasite on meetings, but it cant be voted out, so players would need to try to figure out who is the Carrier or kill the parasite directly. I don't like it exposing a body, but its fine, would be fun someone talking and then it changes the voice suddenly.
For lucid dreamer, I think it shouldn't be able to see bodies, just it confirming everyone's placement its already too powerful (if you lie, you can easily be caught).
Witch Doctor is fine, I like it.
Cuckoo its more on the weaker side, but it gets stronger as the match goes on, and its fine too. Just its presence its a menace, because you need to walk through all the map, and I love it, forcing players to stay away from each other, leaving the boring game of gooses walking together all the time
Lost Duckling... I dont know, I like having a bad option as a duck, but I dont think its fun at all. Ducks kill less, the game gets more slow, the killing goose role could be a fellow duck and its hard to confirm... I think it should have some kind of reward to know when the ducks find each other, something like "If you vote someone, you know if its a friend or not", for all ducks, the Lost Duckling is trying to find "his parents" and the other way around. So then you get his name red, but should you trust if its your friend? Youll need to confirm next meeting. Then after that the Lost Duckling could get... a lower cooldown? Idk, but just that mechanic would be a more fun role to interact with for both sides.
It's probably a swingy role rather than just a weak one, depending on the players it either becomes weak or pretty strong. It can make the ducks win majority if there are 3 ducks and 8 players in total (4v4) by skipping, so maybe instead just make the parasite appear dead in meetings and don't allow them to vote. Also that does sound fun, maybe make it so the parasite kills the player and it needs to spit out the body before it can kill players (if it even can kill players in someone's body)
I actually have two takes for the lucid dreamer, either make them get slower the more they walk or make them see bodies as if they were a living player, so they can still get info but the bodies are hidden
Yes, a nice role that can fake bw, its target getting switched when a meeting is called should also be added to sk
I agree on that too, personally I just dont like how they can lose if they get seen just once leaving from an egg but they do have a good purpose for the game

There should be a way to block/report players after they leave the lobby. They don't always pop up in the recent tab and many have experienced toxic/abusive players that then leave the lobby before you can block or pre-mute them. They then rejoin mid game to continue to harass players.
for me i think the block list needs to be more than 15 people
way too many have been ruining some lobbies and not all of them can be blocked from rejoining just to cause more problems

I mean, you can chill. That’s it though. Maybe the ability for the raven to take out the lucid dreamer? I also found out last night if the raven calls a body, says where it is, but then goes hunting during the meeting the lucid dreamer can easily tell who the raven is as they are no longer where the body was.

I understand the whole process for the claw and coins and dust. But why is it that for the past 2wks I’ve been using the silver coins I’ve earned and just keep getting dust or something I’ve already gotten (which turns to more dust) there’s clearly still soooo many things I haven’t gotten that it could randomly pick. It starts to feel like it’s rigged. Especially when I have enough silver coins to go 6-7 times and get nothing but dust. Just wondering at this point why even have a claw? Why not just have a store to convert the silver coins to dust. Leave the claw for gold since that’s really what it seems like you want.
So I have read this before which is why I mentioned I understand what you are saying however my main concern is that the claw at this point seems like a sham for the silver coins.
If there is still so many items left to randomly get (the silver coin options), why do I keep getting dust? It seems like those items are there for show.
The chances of getting dust on the silver machines is high (70% on the mini, 60% on the small claws). Odds have always been displayed on the window of each machine
So basically an astral but only use during meetings
The lucid dreamer can also do tasks during a meeting, so if somebody who is quick at tasks gets the role, it may end poorly for the ducks
But personally I like to use it as a scout, the information you can get from locations is, at least in my opinion, the strongest info a goose has

I would like to inquire, do you have any plans to allow for the repetition of the number of professions in the custom board? For instance, most professions could be set to exist repeatedly, with the number of occurrences being customizable, such as limiting the maximum number of occurrences of a profession in a single game to X.
I believe that this will greatly enhance the playability of the game, as currently, except for the big white goose and duck, all other characters can only exist in a maximum of one. I think this modification will make the game very fun, and it's not very complicated. At the same time, due to customization, it just adds new gameplay elements, and players can manually set it up to maintain the previous gameplay.

Do we have plans for it? Not currently. Have we thought about it? Absolutely.
Though it would likely have to be its own gamemode separated from classic/draft.
It's never a question of how "complicated" it would be to implement, our team is really good 
More of a question of "what does it bring to the game? is it a priority at this time? does it take anything away? will many enjoy this?, etc. etc." so not saying it will happen, also not saying it will never happen but its something we have considered.

When are we going to change the parasites vote? It ruins the game. They shouldn’t have a vote at all.
Wouldnt be wise to do, if you count one less vote from the total # of alive players then it outs theres a parasite in the game
Dont get me wrong tho, the vote does make the role unbalanced

It’s the extra skips that make things difficult and unfair imo. Especially when you have a pelican or a falcon.
The extra vote on itself is bad regardless if it's forced to skip or not. It's one extra vote for ducks
The problem I see w it besides the balancing is that the carrier just doesnt experience the same fun the parasite does

What if Demolitionist and Sin Eater become mutual exclusive?
Demolitionist gameplay encourages players to spread out due to the threat of bombs, while Sin Eater relies heavily on players grouping together to be effective. Because of this, when both roles are in the same match, Sin Eater often becomes significantly harder to play.
When playing on ios-iphone, cant listen music. game shut it down auto;(
I feel that the eagle is quite weak, finding it difficult to fully withstand the ray bombardment. Moreover, once the eagle enters the stage, it still has to locate all the people, while the duck can even turn off the lights. How about removing the time limit for the eagle stage? After all, others might just pass by and kill the eagle, making it easier for the eagle to win
Mummy honestly needs to be buffed more. Thralls can't kill by normal means is unique, but brutal. Mummy is countered by hard grouping. I think the mummy having some kind of more powerful lights sabotage would go a long way. Also, it feels insanely underpowered compared to the other trick or treat roles which have distinct methods of flying under the radar.

In the medium claw? You would have either received dust or a cosmetic with additional dust.
If you received a duplicate you receive dust
I only received 24 dust for getting a duplicate item
You would have received 24 dust for the duplicate uncommon cosmetic and the bonus depicted under the card
That is why I wont ever spend any more money on this game. What can 25 dust do? It should convert much higher.
25 Dust + Bonus Dust (e.g. above 25 + 161 = 186 dust)
Dust can be collected and spent in the dust shop. Duplicate conversion is based on the cosmetic tier (in this case uncommon).
Don't forget every 10 plays on the medium/big/mega claw grants a guarantee pull.
What are premium passes? Is it "per flight" or one time premium pass for all flights to be released? (I thought it's a one time pass and bought it for the "faire & folly" flight 😭)

I really wish that for the limited time claws, for example the royal faire claw that's active right now. It would only let you win the limited items. I don't want to spend 100 gold coins for the chance to win items I can get any other time. To me it defeats the point of the "limited time" aspect of the claw! I tried once and got a non limited time item, i felt pretty disappointed.. Hoping in the future this can please be taken into consideration

for now if you do alt+enter you will enter windowed mode, drag it to the desired monitor then select alt+enter again to go back to full screen 🙂

Currently you can close Tasks but we're working on implementing all the panels with their own ESC-functionality. I'll add it to the board now
when trying to join the lobby thats already started there is nothing to tell you that its already started it just dosent let u in the game, it might be good to say theres a game in progress or something
I also wish I could close task windows by clicking on the outside area of them
^^^ This is possible but because we have a lot of drag/click events people were closing them accidentally more than not. I will look into a way to push the collider to the outside of the screen.

when you set a region and then quick search, a popup comes up saying "no games found in the region" but it stays there even when you join another game
so i can sit in a lobby with the popup still there
i can close it but I think it should autoclose
and the escape key doesnt close anything so you have to manually click on the X every time
legs also have a set timer for how long they run for so you can press A quickly and you will stop quickly but the legs keeping moving for a set amount of time

Hey thanks for the feedback; we are definitely trying to add more game settings so you can choose your own keys and resolution. The lobby popup shouldn't stay on we'll def look into closing it. The legs are basically bound to your momentum, not your keystrokes so they stop only when your character is fully stopped. There might be delays because of lag, if there is an easy fix we'll look into implementing it. Finally the fact that the mouse overrides the keyboard inputs for movement was actually a decision we did on purpose because using both inputs would make the goose move weirdly... if you have other ideas on the movement we're glad to hear them but I don't really see a player holding the mouse button while they are trying to move with the keyboard.

I would like to see proximity chat be adjustable from the perspective of voice distance, similar to bettercrewlink, along with the various other options bettercrewlink comes with. Not a fan of hearing all dead players anywhere on the map while dead either and I'd like to be able to converse with dead players during meetings too.
I also didn't hear a beeping countdown when the voting timer is about to expire, so not sure if that's a bug or if it's just missing.
And I would love to be able to enter a task by pressing space bar instead of E 🙂

@swift walrus We don't want just anybody to mod our game. We are very active in our community and extend/open information about our development process to our players. This includes people who like to mod games. We have a blanket statement in our EULA because of our account based back-end. Some mods may look like hacking to our network and that would get people's accounts banned. So far no one has formally approached us about making mods for our game. If we know a mod exist or a modders want to take control of certain aspects of the game we are more than happy to work with them and sign off on the custom content they may want to make.
If we find talented modders that have great ideas and are enthusiastic about our game we are rapidly growing. There is always room on our team for talented individuals.

You can hear other dead ghosts. Letting dead players hear alive players with certain roles breaks the game and gets really confusing as ghosts can sit over walls.
I think it would be nice to see all player roles on the end game screen including those that lost, maybe small in the corner or lined up on the left or right side of the screen. When the geese win and there’s a lot of players, there is always people asking who the ducks/dodo were.
I think the pet uses should be on the lobby screen if you have one equipped

Love the game, currently playing with friends. Only big issue so far is several tasks are not colorblind friendly. It would be great if there an option for that.
2 of our developers are colorblind; so we try to snap an array of colors for these tasks. Many of the ones that rely specifically on it can be refreshed to get a better palette - we will add symbols to them later

A way to separate the chat for each match, or have it clear itself at the end of each game/lobby, would be nice. sometimes people will mention old messages in the chat from previous games during the lobby meetings, and then takes a moment for someone else to mention its old.

it's not really a bug or anything, but the "align satellites" task in the list has "align" misspelled as "allign".

In the Steam version of the game, I cannot get player audio to output to my headphones, but I didn't have this issue in the Beta version I played yesterday

Hi--I experienced a frustrating issue during stream where someone with a variety of racist nicknames kept joining my game. It was a public lobby because we didn't have enough to go private, but I reported and kicked him multiple times but had no way to blacklist him from my room. Is there a way to add this?
Oh, on a lighter bit of feedback--it would be nice if the cosmetics you've purchased would get bumped to the top, because otherwise you have to search through the (very robust) list to find your cosmetics!

is there a reason why mouse movement is quicker than keyboard?
Player speed is the same, however with a keyboard you're limited to 8 axis of movement compared to the 360 degrees of movement you have with a mouse so it may feel faster

i have tried this game again today since the memory usage was at 50-60% and luckily im not getting any freezes
im gonna go try the game and activate the camera and see if it freezes
i did every task in single player but camera wasnt an option but i havent got a freeze once so i guess the problem was lag only

I struggle a lot with this one because I find it hard to differentiate the light yellow and light green colours as I am colourblind (protanopia). Maybe a more obvious shade of green and yellow or different colours could help.

I'm not colorblind, and even I have a little trouble with that task x) And I do think the TV one is a bit loud as well, though I love the irony of having to adjust the antennas on the TV to get signal on an airship... ❤️
I thought that task was how I was discovering I am a lil color blind. Glad I’m not the only one who struggles with it lol.
A couple members of the gaggle crew (myself included) are colourblind (I am by far the most colourblind within the crew) as well, but don't worry we're making some of the tasks more colourblind friendly 
Some of the achievements are really hard to get like killing 2500 people
Yes, we wanted some to be more challenging than others.
2500 is not a reasonable amount at most 1000

well only issue is that it seems to get caught by some controllers anyway. friend is unable to stand still because of his controller being plugged in

I find it annoying that if I'm playing duck with a another duck, and other one is morphling, I don't know that they're a duck until I see them in person

While I think having a task that enables intercom and cameras is a nice idea, it sort of gives a goose a hard clear. Would it be possible to make an option to maybe make intercom or cameras enabled for anyone who's done their tasks instead of being activated by someone or something else?

There are other options but that's the easiest and most obvious off the top of my head.
If add the suggestion of ducks with one actual task to do though can’t hard clear anyone as they might end up with cams or intercom....
Would a task completion number be possible as a toggleable option? ie - you turn it on and ghosts can see how many tasks a player has done (ie - 4/6) above each player's head. Could include a fake number for ducks/dodos that will go up somehow over time as well I guess.
Would be nice to know who has tasks left to complete so you can shame them for holding onto the last task for an hour to hold the game hostage. 
While i appreciate the frustration, this is really a potential game breaker .. ... . GGD ( and any other social deception games) is all about not knowing who has tasks to do or has tasks left .... Ducks should be more than capable of being able to complete their kills or get voted off with one task left within 1/2 hour ... sounds like that situation above just needs a new group of players who want to play the game. If medium is off, then the ghosts cannot communicate to the host that there is a trolly player, until game ends, so it seems like superfluous coding to add.
It's just nice for having the option whenever a player might decide to troll and hold tasks.

Yeah, but my point is there is no way to determine who is holding tasks.
Hence the idea of including a toggle that allows ghosts to see the task progress.
So while in an ideal world it wouldn't be necessary, we live in a world where people love to play the troll.
It's simply providing people who want to play the game correctly another tool to help try and play the game correctly.
I play on windows and my volume always defaults to 15 when playing the game, even after adjustments.
I also second maybe changing the cams/intercom task somehow. It has definitely been a “hard clear” card for many of the rounds I’ve played.
Maybe cams/intercom can active after a certain number of rounds has been played through or a activate after a certain number of goose are killed.
Just an idea. As a Duck it definitely makes that Goode who fixes it a big red target 🎯 for me or it makes them kind of like the ruler of the lobby because they’ve been hard cleared and their word is law lol 😆.

So if they are completed with hidden tasks, it holds the activation until after the first meeting is completed

people who purposely dont do tasks should somehow be punished too as i hate being a ghost and waiting for 15-20 mins sometimes for either the duck to kill them or the Geese to actually finish their tasks
What about people who are new or naturally slower than others? Or the medium that's been chasing ghosts around most of the time?
yea i know what you mean and i had that thought when typing that message but there has been times where im a ghost and im watching a goose just stand there afk for awhile or just "shuffle" enough to not get kicked and purposely delay the game by over half an hour sometimes
I'm usually quick with my tasks so I have gotten frustrated by people not doing tasks after an extended period of time. But I just think it'll cause arguments with certain groups.

Forgot to do this before but Thor asked me to put my thoughts on optimizations for chatting as well as clicking off stuff like the chat and or task tabs. Sometimes chatting feels a bit delayed as well as sometimes lags a bit when closing the chat tab, also some tasks don't seem to disappear after they are finished, don't remember which ones on which map but if I see them I'll make a note of them to put here.
^^^ This is fixed in next patch. The chat delay may be due to censorship

That is interesting, you would be able to identify that from a simple click of the report button? That's awesome if so, I'd be curious to know if you can share what else is grabbed when a player is reported, just for the sake of knowing when a report button might not be able to fully tell a story.
We do get quite a but of information, but obviously the more important thing is to just report them. This helps the most 🙂 The more the better.
Hello, I just opened the game for the first time to try and play. Would it be possible to add in the settings to be able to allow windowed/full screen so I could move it to another monitor easily? I like being able to move games around and I think other streamers would like for that as well.

I was only able to do the wires so far. I know I'm not color blind, but I have a streamer friend who is and that was where I thought about it. I'm going to try and get several others together to play so we all can learn to play. From what I played I know my other friends will love this game.

Got stuck in a game where no one had a button left and the duck was trolling the lobby for 30 minutes without making a kill.
If they go 15 minutes without a kill, automatic lose for the duck.

@scarlet ledge you can control this from inside Windows, using the "App volume and device preferences" selector under "Advanced sound options". I think Mac has something similar, but not positive.
Windows actually doesn't like when software controls your default audio output.
It can be done, but there are a lot of things that we need to consider before putting it in.

I use EarTrumpet and it saves me the hassle of having to go all the way into the Windows settings to control which audio output to use with each app. I route games and discord to my headphones and everything else to my desktop speakers.

On some of the tasks I feel they shouldn't start from the beginning is interrupted by a meeting... Like f.ex the cleaning with W Duck 40 in engines. If a stain is removed it shouldn't reappear for that player after a meeting...
And it would be nice to have a training game where you only walked around and had ALL tasks available to practise on them all

Is there any consideration to extending the capability of the discussion/voting timers?
ie - if I wanted to still have like a 2 minute long meeting but wanted it to only be 15 seconds of discussion and the rest voting
Having the option to set the voting to be the remaining 1:45 would be nice so don't have to wait a full minute or so to vote someone off if the whole lobby knows.
I guess if there's a worry about having way too long of a timer, perhaps there could be a joint limit (like 2 minutes split between the two?)

hey just a little feedback about the medium, the new way it plays didn't go down so well in our group and basically made the role useless. Is there some happy "medium" (haha) between the old way and the new way?
@empty frigate It is definitely an advanced roll for sure. I wont disclose how it's to be used but it is one of the most powerful roles in the game (similar to a snitch). The team at Gaggle does play test with it and our beta group still does realize that it can be an unbelievable tool if used strategically.

The amount of programing logic that needs to go into this is far worse than making it so the last person who joins doesn't get a chance to choose.
Loving this game so far. I play Among Us weekly with a bunch of people and we recently tried this game and had a blast. Some of us suggested not even wanting to play Among Us anymore. Now that I've had the chance to play it a few more times, I wanted to drop some suggestions that IMO will make the experience so much better. I hope they can be considered: 
- Keep map available all the time during meetings (or give the option to choose)
- button to see list of tasks during meetings
- button mapping
- remember lobby settings when returning to main menu
- presets for settings (similar to The Other Roles mod for Among Us)
- switch maps in lobby (instead of needing to create a new lobby, just to switch maps)
- show your own role during meetings
- play as duck while exploring a map, with dummies on the map, so we can test duck controls
Several of these have been suggested, and some are being considered & possibly implemented in the game. Keeping the map open during meetings can create problems for touchscreen users and will probably not be a feature.

I mention the map button always being available, because that could allow for shorter discussion and longer voting time, allowing for voting earlier (especially if you already know who it is) and not needing to wait X seconds before voting, just because we want to have longer time with the map. One more I just remembered. When a morphed duck kills, it shows the killed goose they were killed by that morphed player, not the duck, which is a bit confusing
This was intentional game design. It actually just changed to this pretty recently.
There should be a way to get a view of a random goose who hasn't finished their task.
Maybe a "manager" role where you can click a button that chooses a random goose without their tasks done. As soon as that goose finishes their task, the manager can see a different random person. To balance the role, ducks could press a "fake task" button that increases their task counter.
Also ghosts should just be able to see how many tasks different people have done.
Also there should be a visual indication of how much time is left during meeting. A progress bar with two segments for discussion time and voting time.

It’s to counter the morphling role. If you see your true killer you can go straight to following them rather than observing as a ghostling to figure out who it really is before trying to send the medium to them. Just as you spend time alive trying to find the duck ...
I don't understand confusing everyone for a single role that has a 10 second button and you can't communicate with the medium other than them seeing you, but ok. Carry on.

A solid medium player doesn't rely on the ghosts to communicate with them directly. They will use their ability in small groups or when approaching other players mid/late game to see if ghosts are fluttering near their killer. Getting killed by a morphling can confuse the ghosts and throw off the medium which is without a doubt THE MOST powerful goose role in the game.

The i5-2520m chip doesn't actually fully support dx11 shaders, it actually only supports dx10, The minimum specs are a third generation i3

I mean, you can still give the option in the settings to give the flexibility and let the players decide if they don't want to be confused and feel that makes more sense. Plus, what happens when Medium is off? Does it revert back to showing the actual killer?
No it stays, we found way more hilarity with people getting flustered at someone for killing them when they didnt. It was more enjoyable for players across our tests as well. In the event of there being no medium it makes little/no difference other than the need to know. We know it's not exactly like Among Us and because we're not a mod it lets us do things a bit differently. Our sheriff has a custom kill animation as well :)

That's fine. I'm not here to debate it. Just giving my feedback that adding an option for the players to decide what they want for that scenario would make the game/role way more customize-able to the players' and lobby liking. I appreciate the quick responses.
Oh yeah we're not debating and the feedback is important.. being able to have an open discussion is what it's all about. Just trying to explain the reasoning behind why it was done differently in the mods (somewhat out of restriction). Its also important for everyone to know we're not just doing what we like but what the community likes. That morphling change was a broad request from the players. If enough people want to switch it back we can and adding options to it is something we can investigate for sure. I never close the door to giving players a different ways to play the game :)

Unfortunately this is the nature of public games; we are doing what we can to ban based on your reports. There is also shadow banning for chat that is already implementd. We are working on better ways to stop this behavior.
The best thing to do in the meantime is report it and they will definitely get their accounts turned off.

I love the drops system on twitch, it's easily one of my favorite features of this game. I just want to express my frustration on the JTaz_ drops as the sweater is locked behind 10 hours of viewing, which normally wouldn't be an issue but with JTaz being a variety streamer, and only streaming one day a week in a 4 hour block means you basically have to be there for 3 out of the 4 streams he allotted time for, for the costume. If I tune in this Sat and watch the full stream, I will still miss the costume by 2 hours.
I know it's optional, and it's meant to be fun, and rewarding and an incentive to watch streamers you may not have known about otherwise, but In the future please consider not putting such long drop requirements (10 hours) for variety streamers if they're only streaming 16 hours for the entire length of their campaign. It just doesn't feel good. Please consider extending his campaign.

I totally understand that. It's just having the opposite effect for me. Instead of being something fun for me like the virus or vigilante shirts, that have actually made me stick around and watch these people long after I've earned the rewards, the Jtaz one is actually making me frustrated.
Jtaz is an extremely popular streamer in Italy (he's part of their version of OTG) and really I think he wants to keep it exclusive as he could. I don't see anything wrong with that and I can understand that not everyone will get it and I'm certain he'll refresh his campaign at some point in the future to give people the opportunity to get it again.

I will relay that to him and see if that helps. I know his is pretty bad where the Enchroma glasses won't even work for him.

Yes, they know. Because they're proto they have trouble seeing all 3 colors. So I took a screenshot to see if he could tell the difference between those 3 colors, and he can't. He was not aware the white had any relevancy to the task, so after mentioning it to him, he said he noticed the white, so he'll pay attention the next time he plays, which will probably be tomorrow or Friday.

I think having the little voice icon in the discussion screen be more distinct would be nice, perhaps make it black, larger or make the whole name change colors would be nice. My screen is kind of small and sometimes it's hard to see who's talking.

Since leaving a game causes impossible task win but in order to prevent people from just leaving for instant task win, would a plausible solution be to add tasks to remaining players?
Ie - X leaves the game with four tasks, those four tasks get distributed randomly to other geese.
This is on our radar. The ability for us to add tasks to players is definitely something we're looking into intently, it's something we can use for roles or game modes.

No, it was in a private game. I also caught them being super rude in-game and their actions are recorded in a twitch stream. I can share the link privately with the timestamp if you like.
They were also not very cooperative in several other games and we eventually had to kick them from our game.
Once they are kicked from a lobby they can not rejoin this lobby.
We can't do anything about private games. If you open up the code to the public you're inviting in random people and it's up to the game host to manage this behavior.

Any thoughts on audio boosting rather than having everyone only at 100% max. It would be nice to be able to boose quiet players instead of lowering all normal volume players. Similar to Discord with up to 200% boosting?
That's a great idea, cause I already "normalize" everyone by turning them down to 50% so the quieter players can be more easily heard.
As of now we do not have the ability to boost remote users volume with the way we are doing voice integration. The quieter players will need to boost themselves on their end (adjust mic settings) or you would have to turn everyone else down to be able to hear them.

I know one of my friends I play with has a turtle beach something or other headset and it's at max volume in every setting inaginable and everyone has trouble hearing him, so that's what started me down the path of manually turning every player down to be able to give the quiet players a voice.

Everyone is going to have different microphone settings so you're going to run into the issue of having to turn everyone up instead of everyone down to adjust for the select few in your lobby
More or less, yea I think that is the summization. Or at least a setting to give us the option in the setting of what percentage to default people at.
So that way if I wanted everyone that joined a room to start at 75 or 50% volume I could turn them up if needed, but gives us the chance to turn the quiet ones up louder than everyone else because otherwise they just can't be heard as well in some cases.
I manually set everyone to 50%. Quieter ones go higher depending on their mic, but then when someone new comes into a room I'm instantly fumbling to turn the new person down to match everyone else I normalized at 50%. Which is basically 3 or 4 times every single time we go back to the lobby and new people join.
Well i think discord is a good example on this, when you first join a voice conversation all the sliders are set around 50%, not sure what the volume level is on those, but then you have room to adjust up or down from there

It's set at 100% but you can go to 200% I'm not sure if they artificially made those numbers and 200% is really 100% or how it works, but yea, same concept.
I mean unless you are labeling the volume meter in decibels or some other quantifiable form of measurement instead of percentages it's kind of hard to say where exactly the volume starts lol
Discord is a web application that isn't running natively. They run as a process and can utilize your mic settings from your drivers directly. We can't wihout heavy modifications to our chat SDK and it would require us get security permissions that aren't allowed on most Steam Apps. Steam has recently increased their security protocols for builds and as we gain more traction we may have more authority to build apps to do this.

Is there any thought to allowing an option to not cause lovers to die together? As it stands with forced death, as a lover duck or goose on opposite teams it severely limits your strategical options and might be fun to allow potential to backstab a lover.

A useful tactic I have figured out with lover duck is not only showing my lover what I am but also kind of wiggling near my lover in a way to say "This is my lover, don't kill them" in front of my duck buddy. Sometimes they get it, other times... well... lover walks in front of a kill.
Overall, this does make the game more interesting if you play your cards right.
I was thinking last night it'd be interesting if there was a "sleeper agent" duck role, cannot kill until late in the game or when none of their duck partners are remaining, and cannot enable sabotages or execute them until their role comes online.

Would it be plausible to add a noise to the Vulture arrow appearing? Sometimes it can be a little hard to spot if it spawns like in a wall or something so an audio cue would be helpful.
Also, I don't recall but I think Dodo vision is tied to Vulture vision in the settings unless I'm mistaken? Doesn't seem intuitive that the other third party vision is tied to it without being labeled as such.

Would it be plausible to allow keyboard movement for mechanic? Every time I am mechanic I always want to be able to use keyboard hotkeys and being forced to use the mouse instead for it feels clunky. I guess duck as well, but I feel like I spend far more time venting as mechanic.

I think that if multiple people get ejected from the airlock they should have a random starting position so they don't just look like one body. As in they rotate and are on the same point, just out of sync.

I don't know if it was proposed already, but a way to save the options of a game would be nice. 🙂 With a bunch of friends we swapped maps several times and we had to re-select the roles we wanted, the timers and all that each times, when it was always the same person who hosted the different games.

Hey, can we get some Linux support
I can run the game with Proton (Steam's built in compatibility layer for running Windows games on Linux), prox chat doesn't work
I know this game isn't locked to DirectX considering that it works on macOS
Our voice & proximity chat unfortunately will not work on Proton.
This is not a trivial fix for us but some of our devs work with Linux and we haven't written out the possibility of future support for it once we are out of early access.

The SDK we use for voice and proximity chat includes built in streaming/mixing/echo cancellation, We would have to program a wrapper to get it to work properly. It involves a lot of testing and would take up a lot of our resources right now while we're trying to get the game into full release.

For example, Discord's Krisp noise suppression doesn't work on the Linux client

The hardware drivers for linux don't work the same way as they would on MacOS and even if they did they are largely obfuscated by Apple. It's challenging to get around.

Just this thing that kept on bugging me, I want to be able to change the resolution of the game in windowed mode. The game lets you switch between full screen and windowed mode, however, windowed mode is locked at about 1440p. The game is really fun tho. This change would really help a lot with streaming and such since if you don't have the highest resolution monitor, you should still be able to read chat.
Screen resolutions are coming in the near future.
Hi all! I'm loving the game, I've come from Among Us where I have 5000+ games played but fancy a change. I'm enjoying the way the game plays, the laid-back / "party" feel, and the pleasant-ness of the public lobbies!
However, I'm colorblind, and am having a tough time telling the player colors apart. I had a search on here and was pleasantly surprised to see that so much has been done to the tasks with colorblindness in mind, and that this issue affects some of the devs as well.
I think the issue may stem from the fact that the player colors seem to be mostly pastel, which I guess limits the variance between the colors? In Among Us I struggled with White/Cyan/Pink, Darkgreen/Brown, and Purple/Blue, however in Goose Goose Duck, I'm struggling to tell many of the colors apart. I feel that with the colors being less vivid, and there being more of them, this has become more of an issue. I've attached a picture of what I see.
This is an issue in meetings, as I end up not knowing who did what, and end up relying solely on the name-tags, which aren't always clearly visible at the time. I figured that this problem will solve itself over time, as people acquire hats/clothes etc, however I am struggling to tell players apart, especially in the small voting icons which appear alongside each player. Knowing voting patterns of each player in the early meetings is a helpful clue to who is good/bad in the late game.
I feel as though this could be helped somewhat by having an option to write the player colors below them in meetings, and maybe below the name-tags in-game.
Just a thought!

With 16 players it is definitely difficult to get a color palette that helps us see everything (actually it's damn near impossible).
So far the color palette we have now was actually the most optimized for the various color blind to see across 16 iterations. Some combinations of smaller groups are definitely worse. We move slightly off the solid colors because they were actually harsher on the eyes.
Definitely agree. TBH, I couldn't list 16 colors that I can tell apart.
We definitely can do something in the future for color blind folks like us, but you're right; once everyone has cosmetics the problem stops being a problem but we shouldn't rely on people spending real money to make that problem go away.
For the same reason, I'd suggest not heading towards full-body cosmetics, unless they were forced to remain player colored. The "half mech" bodysuit introduced in Among Us is a real pain.
Writing the colors could potentially help; I will add it to our trello board for an update in the near future (underneath the name we can put a player number)

You guys are great, I am really enjoying the game, I previously played in a number of Among Us lobbies and am trying to pull together enough people to get some GGD lobbies going. The game is a refreshing change, and it's good to see another game in what feels like a new genre for video gaming.

@green spruce this is something that will most likely be added later down the line, right now the focus is to get the game to mobile + general bug fixes. @green spruce the game is constantly being worked and improved on to ensure as many people can play the game as possible, without these issues. I would recommend a slightly better tutorial, I have gone through my first game and I still don't understand anything, I've even looked at the tutorial still haven't found anything.
This might very well be a feature later on, but right now the game is still very new, and is growing & adding features at a really fast pace ^^ I recommend watching a few streams ( #829421328502095943 ), or ask questions in #💬︱general if there is anything in particular you want to know ^^ Check out the Looking For Group channels, #lfg-english-over18 in particular, and join a private lobby with proximity chat! Ask away, we have a really friendly community 
There needs to be a button to report players, I was wearing the rainbow shirt in the game and two kids just kept on harassing me calling me gay, "stfu you queer", and harassing whoever else who told them there's nothing wrong with being gay etc. I'm not even gay, but just saying a report player button would be very helpful
In public games, in the settings menu under Player category there is a full list of players and there you can find a report button that you can use

have yall considered making the vision radius a bit blurred? I think it fits the ambiance better than the clean circle.
We don't use 3D spherecasting so doing that isn't as simple as it sounds. We are using really high res graphics compared to the OTHER game so we can look at it. If you take a look at their shadow versus ours there is a big difference in cpu requirements. Adding blur means less people might be able to play, like our friends on dx9 🙂

we just tested this game (6 players) and the mic volume of several of us is super low, even with everything maxed. Is there a way to increase the mic volume even further?

I really like the hard edge to the vision circle in GGD. It looks especially good with the flashlight. For me it removes a lot of the "did I just see...?" moments around the edge of the vision circle. You either saw it, or you didnt.
We went for the harder edge for a few reasons. This was one of them. We are making upgrades to the flashlights in the next patch
when playing with flashlights, mouse movement has a clear advantage over keyboard-only due to allowing more than 8 angles to aim the flashlight. Not sure if it's even an issue, but just something you guys should be aware of 🙂
The ability to use the mouse to move has loads of advantages. You'll only ever get 8 ways with a keyboard!
I have found that that is only an issue to people who are not used to keyboard controls, as several people I know can somehow do perfect circles with the keyboard controls x)
We recently just tested a smoother flashlight for an upcoming build. Keyboard seemed really smooth for it. I didn't notice as much of a difference between mouse and keyboard. I believe it's slated for the next update.
hi there! not sure if this is the proper channel for me to let you all know this in, but for some reason anytime i go into a lobby the game automatically boosts my mic under my MSI mic application which causes huge static in my streams and my sound to be extremely loud. we had this issue yesterday while i was playing live and today i tested it after we fixed the issue and realize its only when i go into a lobby. just wanted to make you all aware to possible look into this issue, im not sure if i'm the only one or not.
I tried to load the game up and turn the boost off and it looks like it turns the main volume for my mic up as well automatically. i tried to adjust it but when i start talking, the volume is automatically turning up while in game. there's no way for me to stop it
In the future, #816406021232263280 would probably be the proper place for this. I know there is currently a lot of issues with mics that use specialized software to do things (like for example I use an El Gato Wave 3 that utilizes special software for virtual audio cables, and the mic auto unmutes itself everytime a meeting is called). @dry wind so i found this but even changing it to off did not help. it still automatically adjusts my mic when i go into the game
@shadow vale Try right click on the speaker on the bottom right of your screen it should bring this menu up: https://i.imgur.com/BPWbsoU.png . Click open sound settings. Under input it should list your mic, click device properties. https://i.imgur.com/BYfp9h6.png There should be an "additional device properties" tab, and you should be able to find it under the "advanced" tab.

Was playing this game for the first time today for a couple of hours. And it was really so much fun. Love the game, and the nerdiness. Thanks a lot 
For me, I so far only had one issue that I think affected gameplay. I had one person being lower than the other, and I would like to be able to boost that persons volume, not just reduce the others. Had to reduce everyone else to 30% or so in this case to get close to even volume. Also be able to set or autolevel your microphone would be helpful.

I was streaming this last night and towards the end of the night I started getting questions about Colour Blindness settings. Do you guys know if there will be a move to bring that in?
In particular there is a task where you must adjust 3 sliders to all be green, this can be quite difficult with or without colour blindness as the limes or close colours can appear very similar from person to person.
@strong vale there is a white dot in the center of each of all those sliders
where as you get closer to the correct 'green orientation', a white dot gets less and less opaque

Are you aware if there are plans for colour blindness options overall in future though as there are members of my community who have that and express that concern.
We have two developers who have two different types of colour blindness
and we've tried to ensure that the tasks can still be completed - did you have specific concerns about any other tasks?
Honestly I would need to confer with them and see where they have difficulties etc. But good to see you guys are taking that in as a factor already 🙂
The bird vaccines and the electrical wires and the weapons wires, for example, have symbology to match the colours. Feel free to reach out if your community can voice what tasks they are having difficulties with

Y'all should get a ticket report system up on the server for this kind of thing. We have one on an AU server I staff and it helps a lot.
If it is a private lobby, either have the host kick the player from the lobby, if it is a public game you can report a player in the settings -> player panel and let the system handle it.

We don't tolerate toxicity in the server, if it is someone in the game there are systems in the game to report toxic players
We're working on a system to give people a way to report toxic behavior the moment it happens. I don't think the behavior should be ignored either. For now you can report the player while in a lobby or try to find another lobby.

Personally would say change the text that shows who reported a carcass from "Host" to "Reporter" or something alike. I've not played the game super much but every single lobby I have, it's questioned as to if they are the host of the actual lobby rather than the reporter of the body, especially for newer players that would be easier to understand.

We spent all month deciding on whether we wanted to add a new color of goose but we decided the month of dev time would have better been spent drawing this symbol pixel by pixel.

Hum... a minor thing that just thrown the power in the lobby to the side: Ghost ducks should probably not be able to open the airlock... The ghost duck had just one thing to do, camp in the cargo bay
We are considering this, we will likely change it later. Experienced groups flock to the cargo bay at the beginning of the game and get their tasks out of the way or wait until a door sabotage has already been called to go in there.
It's also used as a way for ducks to force players to separate if they are more experienced (for the late game).
In larger groups I've noticed it can sometimes be difficult when there's only 1-2 ducks left as large groups of people who feel safe together form. Maybe ways to split groups, such as individual doors, having reactor be in two different rooms, some sort of roll call where you have to go to a certain room and others have their own rooms etc could ease that late game problem.
makes sense... Just felt that duck ghosts ends up camping there and everyone havn't done the tasks there will die... but I guess you can learn for an experianced lobby

@hybrid narwhal are you finding the full 120 seconds insufficient?
A minute for each has not been enough time with full groups. (Public with no VC, and private with proxy/VC) At least in my experience. In other similar games, we would discuss for 120 seconds and then voting would last about 30-60 seconds. It’s just a thought though 😊

I'm a streamer and sometimes play with viewers. I'm worried about trolls showing up. Is there a smooth way to be able to yeet them out if they act badly? Or mute a specific player?
Also want to say that we want the option to be able to increase meeting time. 120 seconds in a 16 player lobby is chaos. I agree with Piff

Muting specific players is in the works, and if you are the lobby host you can kick them ^^
You can already turn their volume way down.
So my friend is having some real pretty bad issues trying to get voice chat to work, and it's just not picking up his voice, he has a really low voice, but it's not really picking up anything

What type of mic do they have, is it set as a communication device, do they have third party sound software installed, and also lastly, where are they connecting from/firewall/antivirus info?
Through USB, they have a shure sm7b with an audio interface, everything seems to be working fine through discord and streaming, but not the game proximity chat
Yeah it is likely getting stopped by the third party interface; ask them to try a different headset/mic combo if they can.
This is his new set up, he had a set up last week that didn't work so he upgraded, and it still doesn't work now unfortunately
