Try out this new update, please give us feedback if it has improved your experience. I'm not saying it will have fixed the issues, we have made some changes which MAY help. The larger potential solution is in the works like Chris says with the third party spinning up servers in the regions closer to where you are. We cannot guarentee this new server will fix the issue either.
Please understand this issue is very dependant on the internet infrastructure in your country, there is a lot of variables which we can not account for without living in your local areas.
We have further ideas and plans to get it working if the next solution doesn't work for you, unfortunately this is just going to take a little time and we have to take it step by step. We won't give up until we fully understand and have a resolution to the problem, although saying that there is always small factors that we can not control, we are hopeful that we can work something out though.

I have one follow up question, do you mean all sound isn't coming through the headphones or just mic chatter?
At the moment, some countries have blocked access to the third party services we are using. However we are in talks with some of these countries to see if there is anything we can do to get this lifted in some cases.

First of all, when the headset is plugged in, the headset works on the main screen of the game, but in the settings tab, in the device section, it says Default Input. When we enter a lobby, the microphone icon in the game displays an exclamation point.

An exclamation appears and suddenly all in-game and chat sounds are completely transferred to the speaker section of the phone, as if the headphones were not plugged in.

The biggest problem this creates is that when the headset is not plugged in, it creates an echo in the voice chat, which other players do not like.

The headset I'm talking about is a wireless headset because I don't have a wired headset. I don't know if this problem also occurs with wired headphones.

Code works in mysterious ways. I remember learning some Python and I added 3 lines of code that messed up the whole rest of the code lol.

Accounts don't get banned by country, the Ban Simon mentioned earlier was a blanket ban by the country to certain IP's that are known for voice service, as you connected to voice (exclamation sign went away)
This might be a logic issue which we are investigating.
A VPN will be fine to use if it is legal in your country and you can use your current account.

Someone in-game is being toxic/abusive/swearing/racist

Unfortunately, we cannot control when bad actors enter a game, but we do provide in-game tools to help moderate your lobbies. Conversations that go on in-game are still private, and we do not have access to the audio in any way. You can block or mute the relevant players in-game and use the in-game censoring filter. Public lobbies have report features that will be attached to their accounts and may result in bans. The relevant players can also be kicked from the lobbies by the host and will not be able to rejoin unless permitted to by the host. If the player in question is the host, and a sufficient number of players block their mics, they will be kicked from the game, and once again that will be reflected on their account.

As soon as it's ready! The gaggle team develop quickly, and we release patches fairly often. We don't often give out firm dates because it's either going to be a lie if we're wrong, or it'll be a rushed product that might sacrifice quality for speed. This could translate into releasing something without sufficient testing and creating lots of bugs for the game.

I would try connecting with a VPN if you haven't. Also ensure BOTH upload and download speeds are above 10 Mbps

the spy's ability to sus out the mimic is intentional

if you think of the design space, there's no real way to address it without creating an exception anyways, like not being able to investigate any duck.
but, i'm pretty okay with it, because you have to make the purposeful choice, and the mimic can always counterplay anyways if they suspected it by voting themselves
and potentially there's counterplay to the counterplay because you notice that one of your supposed duck pals keeps getting 1 mysterious vote preventing your ability, and maybe you just take the chance and kill them, or maybe you just investigate the other ducks

A bit of confusion on my end about what is meant by the demo's change. Does the demo now deploy bombs on people without pressing space or does an already deployed bomb get passed to someone nearby without pressing E (I think it was E at least, maybe it was LShift)
