There is now so much enthusiasm for the game in China that many advertisers are building rooms in large quantities. They took up the entire front page by changing their nicknames into advertisements. So that players can't join normal rooms. Hopefully a filter can be made to block rooms with nicknames longer than 20 characters (these rooms are problematic).

As soon as it's ready! The gaggle team develop quickly, and we release patches fairly often. We don't often give out firm dates because it's either going to be a lie if we're wrong, or it'll be a rushed product that might sacrifice quality for speed. This could translate into releasing something without sufficient testing and creating lots of bugs for the game.

I'd much rather use it to track movement.
If you see somebody circling the map, possibly without ever stopping, they may be the pigeon or a dodo or duck etc.
You could also know if somebody was suspected of going into the fog. Choose them next time you can and watch where they go

1. It's much safer for the demo as they only need to plant bomb. Esper needs tag and then stay in a place for 10 secs
2. Demo creates much more chaos because everyone will be running instead of doing tasks
3. Demo's kill is sorta guaranteed, at least it won't go away

Let's wait to see how it plays out, our beta team was playing with it quite a bit.

We balanced some of it to bring it back in line.

Esper's strength is being able to be somewhere else when someone randomly pops. Unless someone is observant or you speak to them and they out you to someone else, you can't be outted for killing them.

I honestly find esper is better than demo

I feel like people are already being observant. If you don't catch the player alone, you can get caught. In a way, detecting Esper is similar to detecting Demo.

Demo suffers that same weakness but inverted, only being able to use their ability in a large group which I personally find happens less often than someone being alone

Absolutely agree. And I think with the Esper around, it actually encourages the geese to call meetings more often—it shifts the meta so that the geese have more to benefit from calling meetings

Which makes it worse, so my group has already put Esper in the ban list 🥲

Regular players are not the same as your beta team. They don't have any reason to keep playing a character if they are not having fun in their first or second try. They'll just suggest to ban it in the lobby. Most of the players can probably only play less than 10 games per day, so if their first game with Esper is not fun they probably won't risk the second with it... at least that's my group's reasoning

I doubt they'll find out the better ways to play it and I fear that my group won't be a minority with this line of thought

And we had a game with Demo + Esper which everyone did not enjoy because the geese just did tasks and won, these two were both too slow to set up kills. So we kind of figured that they shouldn't be in a same character list to prevent this, and everyone voted to keep Demo and take out Esper

I think I'm more bothered that you can't turn meetings off. While not as often, I think it's a key setting to include, especially for custom game modes like Hot Potato.

This is usually caused by a registry error. If you are using windows, type Windows+R to open the run window. Type in “regedit” and launch the registry editor. Under HKEY_CURRENT_USER/SOFTWARE, delete every folder with Gaggle (Gaggle Studios, Gaggle Studios INC, Gaggle.Fun, GaggleStudios). Be careful NOT to delete the Google folder. Relaunch your client, and have fun!

This can usually be fixed by changing from IPv6 to IPV4. If you are using Windows 10, click on your start menu and open the Control Panel. Open Network and Internet, and then Network and Sharing Center. On the left menu, select Change Adapter Settings. Right click on the network connection that you use, and select Properties. Scroll down to Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) and un-check the box, and then select OK to save your settings.

Please make sure that you are not deafened or muted, and also have the correct input devices selected.
