I can't use any gripping on my left hand.

Whenever I join the game, Meta or SteamVR, I am unable to use my left hand for gripping weapons, ammo, etc. I'm unsure how else to describe this but it's pretty much what it says on the tin. Help would be appreciated, thanks.
