Instead of always using the thumb stick to move, there should be more ways to move, more stick drift and motion sickness accessible ways, suggestions for movement:

  • teleportation (multiple games use this as an option like Arizona sunshine, gun club, etc.)

  • arm swinging (used in games like gorn which is the game that popularized the feature and is also shown in horizon call of the wild, creed: is rise to glory, and a fan favorite choice H3VR.)

  • point to move

These locomotion options are great for motion sickness and stick drift.

as teleportation uses a "flick" which completely ignores the ghost movement of stick drift and is notorious for being the best solution for motion sickness.

Point to move is possibly the best to implement, as it still shows your avatar moving and everything with it as your actually just walking, meaning the physics engine won't stress out and bug the weapons or objects your holding or even your player model.

and arm swinging absolutely eliminates the need of sticks which completely helps and solves drift!

"teleport" only works in the VRchat way where it still animates your avatar moving. This is a multiplayer game with PvP, gotta keep the playing field even
