Hey, I have a feature idea that could make the game feel way more immersive:

Voice-Interactive NPCs

Players could talk directly to NPCs using their mic, and the NPCs would respond and follow commands. For example:

  • You could ask them questions and they answer naturally
  • Give them tasks like “follow me,” “pick that up,” or “go over there”
  • NPCs react based on context (friendly, scared, confused, etc.)

This would make the game feel way more alive and realistic, especially in VR where talking feels natural.

Even a simple version (basic commands + preset responses) would be a great start!

Would love to hear what you think 🙌.

I like this idea but a lot of voice activated things in games get it wrong a lot of the time

This would be an actually good use of AI in a game, much better than DLSS 5

Or we just have specific prompts coded in. Do we really need an AI chat bot in our NPCs?

I'm not putting my foot down or anything, but idk, it just doesn't sound right for this game. I don't hate the idea in general, but it doesn't really sound like this game's identity
