#Flashlights and their mechanics.

• First off, make flashlights toggle-able with the B or Y buttons (on Quest 3) so that gripping them isn’t awkward like it is with most games where you hold trigger to turn them on.
• Secondly, whenever a flashlight is shone into an enemy’s eyes or face, they raise their arm to cover their face and temporarily stumble around.
• Finally, if a flashlight is shone at point-blank range at an NPC’s eyes, they blindly begin feeling for the environment for a period and will start blindly firing/flailing at the player if they make a noise. (Either this or it makes them kneel or something, either way it’d be cool)

(I should add that this isn’t in any vr games to my knowledge)

I’m aware other VR games have flashlights but they don’t have blinding mechanics

i believe contractors did have that feature

it could probably be implemented maybe in that same way

except i think it'd be a bit harder since its with npc ai and not players
