We all hate it when we are in the middle of a firefight and then some lame ass music plays from the background.
The game should be able to identify properties of a situation and allow players to put custom songs into a list while defining their properties.
Properties could be:
- tense music
- heroic music
- action music
- etc.
The game could determine situations by checking for:
- gun shot sounds
- in game location (music can be defined by map creators)
- currently held item/weapon (imagine a Chinese ninja tune playing when you get your Katana)
-range of combat (melee (beat/heavy) music vs tense/calm sniper music - player health (a player doing his last acts could get some heroic music)
- etc
