#Realistic recoil

When games do what?
Honestly realistic recoil sucks. It just makes it to easy because for most weapons in real life it won’t really kick back much. Should feel right not be right.
So realism is okay when it makes the game harder, but not when it makes it a bit easier to use things?
Recoil management is a game mechanic
Which many games fail at
You are removing a game mechanic rn
No? I'm just saying making the recoil realistic would be nice since many games fail at doing that
Im not saying for that I’m saying so it feels right.
Most people who play this will have never shot a gun and they don’t know what that’s like so they’ll find it as unintuitive
These games are what you consider to be the most successful games of all times. Having much recoil as a balance for heavy guns is important
This games whole objective is to be realistic, no? Why is realistic recoil such a sin compared to other things
I'm just saying when 556 has uncontrollable recoil it's annoying as fuck
No it’s not. The game is meant to bd a sandbox that keeps immersion with their features. No one ever said the game is meant to be realistic.
That is annoying tho totally agree
Shouldn’t be realistic but shouldn’t be cartoonish
Immersion and realistic are basically the same thing
Realistic means copying life while being immersive and intuitive means it doesn’t need to feel real just feels right.
I'm not saying that guns should shoot like they're airsoft I'm just saying guns shouldn't have overexaggerated recoil
Take Pavlov for example, if you try to shoot the basic vanilla M4 you're gonna have massive recoil
No that’s totally true tho. I think vails recoil is pretty good imp but theres also a ton of people who say it sucks
I don't remember much about vail but the recoil was good
The game itself sucked tho
But back to the point, im just saying that a more realistic recoil system would, atleast in my opinion, be more fun
Not completely realistic, just more realistic compared to most VR shooter games
Add pooping mechanic then
You see, this game focussed on fun, not realism
That's not even remotely related to the current topic?
And are you purposefully ignoring like everything else I'm saying?
An M4 shouldn't have uncontrollable recoil
A glock shouldn't kick 5 inches upward after shooting it once
I'm not saying make an M249 shoot like airsoft, I'm saying better more controllable recoil would be both more fun and more realistic
