Gamemodes that are allow for more modular and loose objectives that encourage creative problem solving.
Objectives can include but are not limited to:
- survive/kill all members of opposing team (asymmetrical warfare like 5v20 would be cool, also James Bond Skyfall showdown type gameplay (1v10 with traps and stealth))
- capture (capture leader/high value target)
- transport (get a player/a box to a location safely)
- extract (infiltrate a prison/an enemy base to free friendlies and extract them safely
Optional objectives can include:
- raid enemy camp/outpost for additional supplies
Devs should be able to get a mix of these objectives into a dynamic storyline that plays out in an open world. The players are however left the choice of how to approach and complete these objectives, and even if they should do them at all.
