Back when I identified as straight and had no crushes on girls, in middle school, I drew my "dream girlfriend" who was bi. She looked very similar to one of my friends back then. My dream girlfriend AND my friend's name was Alex. My thought process was "if I had a girlfriend, this is what she'd look like"
