Oh no @low igloo I am so sorry to hear that. I know how horrible migraines can be. Mine were pretty bad since last summer. They have never been so bad. They were so bad that I would get really sick. I am really glad I went to a neurologist. He really helped me out a lot because I don’t experience them anymore. I hope you feel better soon. Sending so many good vibes your way.

It is interesting, really: Japanese has a mouthful form "nakereba narimasen" (lit. "if it isn't so, it's no good", which means "(I) must do smth), which can be shortened to "nakya naranai", nakereba -> nakya, and naranai is a different form for the negative, so the same meaning, but it can go evn deeper than that! You could just shorten it to "nakya", so "if it isn't so", and simply imply the rest of the form. If you don't know what the structure is, just figure it out based on the context or something 😄

@whole crypt I'll move my banter over here now I'm not sure how music education works where you live, but here we have music school with teachers that teach instruments to children or other people that want to learn them. For example, I'm a pianist, but besides playing piano professionally at concerts as a soloist or as a part in chamber music, I'll also teach piano. And if I want to become a teacher, I have to finish a bunch of subjects connected to that now during Academy. That's why I said, that we have to learn how to properly teach our instruments to others.

I just had my final exam of piano last week, so now I'm taking a bit of a tiny break until I start with my new programme XD Out of the programme I had this year, I really liked Bach's Italian concerto and the two Beethoven's sonatas that I played (op.27 no.2 and op.31 no.1)

I just had a few months before we moved and the new school didn’t have piano lessons so I just had the basic training which I’ve thankfully retained most of . But my brother is a natural and can play a song by hearing it.

It's hard to express my endless annoyance at the French and what their weird philosophers have done. I still do believe though, that how a cabernet with blackcurrant notes may pair with a steak, Erik Saties Gnossienne movement will pair with the game Bloodborne, in fact I have never seen a better pairing of something imo.
