60 ticks per full .. if it is 15 ticks per quarter ( 6 to 9 for example ) then 30 per half day and 60 per day. If each tick was a minute of real time then that works to the 1 hour per game day

of course, this is only based on assumptions, but applying the same assumptions to both would mean 2 seconds per tick would make the day shorter than 2.5 seconds per tick and aaaaaa i could just open a video editing program and actually look at the numbers but im just eyeballing it
i could also use any kind of drawing program to draw over where the ticks actually happen, then copypaste that and rotate it four times to figure out exactly how many there are...

of course, there's the error of the camera zooming, but i only took positions from four samples so it shouldnt have been that bad

alright the number ive finally come up with is 21 ticks to a side and 42 ticks for a whole day which is meaningless and completely wrong and im giving up

Hello my name is Wippit and I'm a non-alpha spouse. It has been 1 day since alpha took my wife. Hope still blossoms, though, since I know there will be more invites Monday and Tuesday. In sligtly less happier news than My Little Pony references, Passion voiced a conern to me yesterday, and it's a concern that I've been having for a while: what if I don't like Palia? I already know she loves the game, and I like a lot of games she likes, but... well, most the game I play lately tend to be a bit on the violent side: Overwatch, World of Tanks, Planetside II. I guess when I play Minecraft I'm less stabby-stabby and more buildy-buildy, but I play Minecraft less often. I don't know what happens if I don't like Palia. I've invested a lot of time into a game that I haven't even seen, which inclines me to believe I will like it; what kind of crazy person would spend 6 months in a Discord chat for a game you can't play...

novaelline have you seen Picasso's work? his earliest self portrait looked like an expected drawing of a portrait. His later work when he was a renowned artist and redid his self portrait, you would have to be guided to identify what you are looking at. But it is genius. he is a pillar in the artistic world.
Make your art, get messy with it. explain it if you need to but generally stand back and let people read what strings it hits in their hearts. Thats what art does in any media. It makes us question what we feel "should be"

I think it's been mentioned that even though servers are autoselected (you arent tied down to any one server, theyre all like temporary servers iirc) you can manually hop around if you feel like it

- Players will be able to self organize more, you aren't tied down to a specific server
