I think I’m just sad about the state of the world to be honest. It’s too much. There isn’t any one thing I can fix or really even help with. But I am grateful for all that I have and I try to stay mindful.

Like I can be grateful of roads and infrastructure, but it is not unique to America to have these. I am grateful to the herd-mentality of humans for wishing to be communal at any level. Grateful for my family. Friends, old and new. Mindful gratitude is very helpful to leading a life one can enjoy.

anyway the point is it might be slightly inconvenient but overall less restrictive for days to be shorter
if you miss something you have to wait 70 minutes and some people cant do that. understandable.
if days are 24 hours long though, and they log in at the same time every day, they dont even have a chance to do time specific things in the first place. at least with shorter days you can try to get some time specific activities done

Yup yup! It’s all up to how the production team wants to handle things! Alpha and Beta-ing is all about providing feedback to the teams. Finding bugs and suggesting improvements. Though lots of late Beta testing tends to be large scale to test the servers and heavy lifting.

Drawing new characters is sort of like breaking down a wall for me. Once I blast a hole through the bricks, continuing to draw that character just gets easier because my hand is used to the indentifying shapes and details. Hello guys, i was out for 1 week, any news about release date? any other news from pre-aplha or something like that?

Nah, their absence is mostly NDA-breaking fears from what I understand. A lot of testers have expressed anxiety and straight up depression regarding talking to non-testers because legally and socially, the experience is now much more awkward and stress-inducing.

It's a hard phase of the game's development to be here for, because you have a lot of sociable, friendly people who are feeling like they can't interact. That's tough for literally everyone, but I keep trying to remind myself that when it's all over, we'll have something truly rad to play that we can all enjoy together.

Looking at our many channels, I'd love to see them get more mileage on a regular basis. A cooking/baking competition with weekly (or monthly) themes could spice up #🍜│food-and-noms. Costuming our critters to celebrate Palia could pep up #🐾│pet-pics. And, if someone's super analytical, they can even track #👋│introductions to give us the weekly numbers on how many new people have said hello and how many total accounts have joined the server since the last check.

That seems like a fair ask. I've seen footsteps handled similarly in games where they'll linger behind you and then fade after a couple of seconds. Splashing through a puddle, for example, could maybe leave water droplets around it that fade similarly or after a rain, a sprinkly mist effect could stay on things before fading off.
