Sorry I should have been specific lol. Generally speaking, when there's disagreements, things get a bit heated, and so on then there's usually better discussions here instead of on general. When general pops off on something then I come in here because it's just err safer.

We've had some of the same discussions here that the general chat has had and it's been...more productive and way less heated and more trying to get each other to understand one another and iron out misunderstandings, other communication issues, etc. (though there's been times where it ain't much better here either so it depends lol)

(That's just my personal feelings and experience tho! Not trying to be like gen chat bad).

As a more decorating focused game I had the idea that after maybe level 20 or so that each guild gives a recipe to make certain items Star/quality level. Like maybe Tish gives a recipe to make gems quality, einar the same thing but with fish etc.

What do you think of having acrobatics in the game? Things like long jumps, triple jumps, backflips, and side somersaults. Well-timed triple jumps can help us get to those palium nodes on the edge of a low cliff without stressing about climbing a wall. I think it would make farming resources so much more fun. Watching other players do their tricks would be entertaining as well.

I’ve been blessed with most grove groups I’ve had people will wait. I have always called time in server or ask if anyone else is coming. If I see On my way! While chopping I stop. Everyone was actually taking cues from me and stopped too. If they hadn’t stopped I’d have said sorry chopped but since they stopped I was able to say we’ll wait. Good people. ❤️ I have noticed though that people are zoning in after grove time is called. Perhaps some are grove farming by changing servers and so they’re arriving very late? Just speculation.

no no you can give suggestions! i just prefer them being separated out from the problem itself, so both can be addressed and understood.

esp as sometimes we get suggestions that i agree would be a great idea, but there's some backend/design/etc reason it becomes complicated, so we have to come up with OTHER suggestions to address problems. that's just game dev in general though, identifying problems and figuring out with the resources you've got how you can fix it.

there is actually some of this in roots! the laser platform has vines on either end i believe so you can just drop down and climb up instead of having to jump. so i think our designers are playing around with doing things like that. designing entire other alternate paths can be complicated in some ways, and can add production time in others if you have to art up that other path, QA it, ensure it doesn't sequence break, etc, it can balloon the footprint

That was my adhd. I couldn’t sit still in class but could ace tests I didn’t study for. I got everything the first time and got super bored with repetition. Why are we doing this again? I understood it the first time, next? So I got bullied by a teacher for not sitting still and by the class cause the teacher. Took a really good teacher the next year to show me I wasn’t bad and the mean teacher was wrong.

I guess I've been lucky with my teachers... The worst ones, I only had as replacements for my regular teachers, so they mostly couldn't do too much bad stuff. Most didn't mind me reading or doodling or playing cards with my neighbour or whatever, as long as we were quiet and got good grades.
A few times I did get in trouble, but luckily school was pretty strict with what teachers could and could not do with problem students. they can't increase the decor limit atm, it exists to ensure performance and with switch its just not possible to increase it for now, switch players already crash at 2k sometimes.

The grove appears only once an hour, and people often need quite a lot of flow wood. There's no rule against just chopping it when you find it, but it's polite to wait for people, especially since you can then rely on them to wait for you when the situation is reversed.

Some people are still learning how to play the game, also. They may not realize that you can tap once to ensure you get the loot. They also may still be learning that loot is shared. ( by the time someone can cut fuller sized flow trees, I'd hope they have realized this but not everyone attends to things the same way!)

So, I've been playing since December, and I got all the bundles, I completed some of the level 4 friendship quests, finished a lot of quests in game, made a lot of furniture, and been trying to catch that elusive starred rainbow tipped butterfly.

I see some players making it past 150 in their levels.

IDK, I'm feeling like with the two maps, and the lack of bountiful quests that I'm grinding while waiting for a new patch for new content. There just isn't anything left to explore. I feel like I'm hitting a plateau with a game that I deeply enjoyed when I first began playing four months ago, but for the last two months or so have felt less connected with.

So, for people who have 50 plus in their levels, what has kept you interested in the game?
