You could easily do it but you'd have to take the bridge piece you're liking it to Go in your plot and put the stairs down, link the bridge to the top of the stairs then select from the bridge itself. Go back to your bridge out of bound and link it back, that should do it

If it says "something is in the way" when trying to put it back in place, separate the two pieces with cancellation and when you'll put the bridge back in place the stairs should follow

I tried to build my pond on the wood floor and then sink it all at once with another tutorial but then I couldn't place my custom bridge over it because the wood floors in the ground probably collide

It won't be a problem, all collision can be omitted

The problem with placing a table on top of a paver can be fixed by putting a pillar on top of a table and group selecting but I would recommend def sinking the whole thing at once

after all that if u have any problems with placing your bridge, u can ping me or dm and i can help u with it

if u move the shelf the anchor (paver) should bounc back to top of it and the table should follow the apver, but with this set up - u sunk too deep into ground

also, big chance the table is not connected to paver and u need to first put the table down, place another paver or pillar on top and group select by that item, then place on a anchor-paver

depth of sink is equal to the distance u cancel the anchor down, with those tables it should be a bit lower then table height (plus grass u want to be above of if u dont want it to poke through)

It's a building mechanic we have already in Palia, but it isn't keybinded by default for console players, for PC players we have it already on "alt" But your need that mechanic to do the glitch you're trying to do, so go keybind it in your settings (Sorry if it still doesn't make sense, I can't put it more clearly than that...)

this is what i use normally, there are 3 hight levels, cancel place the paver as close to the table as possible, place your table with group select on the paver, move the paver and the table sinks

Yes, or you can have the paver a little out to start with (I know it's difficult to follow in text):

• place your paver in the ground
• place a crate on top of the paver
• place another crate next to the crate on the paver but point to ground so it doesn't connect
• group select from the last crate
• place on the shelf, you can take the crates now and your paver should be off the shelf so you can have more freedom of placement

Only alchemist cottages stack, and there's no "main" ne they all the same base. I would stack them empty before anything is put inside. Maybe even take off any ivy or tree parts if they have them on

I will make an assumption but I could be wrong.

The pillar was rotated to be on it's side with the Classic Wall/Shelf setup so it's rotate 90 degrees, then it was flicked onto it with something that allowed a side-attachment.

An easier approach could be the wall mount piece vs. the stem piece if that's what I am seeing.

The pillar lets you add the mushrooms / wall light onto it with ease. If this is the tabletop version, it was likely flicked on?

I've seen folks use candles and such too for signage and lighting. That could be viable.

If you want an easier idea vs. a bunch of pillars going in twenty directions? This ride I've done with a waist belt vs. bars like pictured. You lean against the surface/table, and G-force forces you to stick as it spins. I don't know how you don't go flying before G-force is full effect.

As such. These folks don't even have belts on.

Okay, so you don't actually need the cobweb. And you don't need another anchor... you can do this with just the pillar and the light. This will put the lights on the pillar first, and so you might have to play around when you build the actual ferris wheel to get the lights to be facing outward, but this gets the lights onto the sides of the pillars!

Start out with your pillar on a shelf rotated sideways, and you want the height to be the same height as a pillar. The copper pillar is just used for reference, so you can get everything lined up. The side of the iron pillar is at the same level as the top of the copper one. Then make sure you have your copper pillar in a square you can remember... see how I have it in the very center of a big square? Once you line up the side of the iron pillar to be aligned with the top of the copper pillar where you want your light, then you can proceed. Next you just move the copper pillar out of the way, and cancel place the iron pillar exactly where you had the copper one. Place your mush light on top of the canceled iron pillar, and then pick up your iron pillar and replace it--the mush light will pop to the side of the pillar.

Then just repeat for the other lights, moving your original iron pillar positioning so that your copper pillar reference is at the end of the iron pillar.

Also, if you want the light more sunken into the pillar, you can do it with the iron pillar originally placed a little higher when it's on the shelf on the wall...

(and obviously, the reference doesn't need to be copper, I just used that so you can see that it's a different pillar)

Cancel placement. (Ghosting is not really the right term... there are some people who call cancel placement ghosting, but ghosting was actually another technque that was patched out.) But if you place one of those, then cancel place it out of the way, you can place the second item in the same place. Then reload your plot and they will be merged together.

It's just a bit confusing for old glitchers actually We had another glitch that was called "ghosting" first and that was way different than cancel placement. However, it has been broken when the Elderwood came out... After that, some content creators started calling cancel placement "ghosting" for whatever reason and now all is mixed up I mean, some people came out with those glitching methods and gave them a name, why not stick with the original one ?

There is... You can float the chair off the paver and then sink the paver underground so you don't see it. If you have a house nearby, you can use the house wall as your anchor.

Then you would have to use another anchor somewhere to sink the paver. But in order to not use an extra piece, you can also do exactly what you did but then also cancel place the paver horizontally a distance before you place your chair. Then you can put the paver distant from that spot... under a bush or in a path or something. (Except that there is rotation, so it's not actually horizontal--you would have to also move it vertically.)

Start with your paver up high and rotated sideways, and then cancel place it on the ground directly below, then place your chair. You will have your paver separate from the chair, but the chair moves with the paver. You can play with the distance to get it further away to a convenient place you can hide the paver.

No, unfortunately there isn’t. The houses and rooms only connect in one direction, so you can’t connect two houses.

Do you mean the pillar on the shelf? You can rotate shelves on walls the same way you rotate things on the ground (w and e on PC). The pillar won’t stay rotated like that in this case, it’s just rotated in order to put the light on the side. When you pick it up from the shelf it goes back to being vertical.

I have seen things on plots rotated in directions beyond what we can normally do in the game.

To do that, you need some sort of anchor that you can rotate. So for example, if you rotate that pillar on the shelf like I did, and then place another pillar onto the end of that pillar (so it’s at a right angle), it will stay at a right angle when you move that original pillar. The second pillar has to stay attached to the first one (it’s the anchor), but that second pillar will stay rotated as long as it’s attached. In other words, you don’t rotate your item, you rotate the anchor the item is attached to. I hope that makes sense. (Also, not everything can be placed this way, so then you get into using cancel placement as well in order to achieve what you want.)

I agree with snail... cancel placement is amazing for getting a lot of things done, and once you can cancel place then you can learn things like floating and sinking and rotating. It's the basis for a lot of the other glitches!

Oh great 🙂 since you're on pc you can do anything!

Cancel placement is used for moving items temporarily, they go back when you reload your plot (going to kilma and back, or another plot of yours and back.

How you do:

Place your item where you want it to stay,

Next pick it up and hover it over an empty area where it won't get in your way
(ensure the item is highlighted in green)

Then do NOT click with your mouse to place!!

Instead, hit a number key thats assigned to another decor item

It should look like its placed the original item, and you should be holding the decor item from number key

You can press Ctrl or the right mouse click to stop holding the number key item.

And thats it!! 😄
Its just pressing a different button to place something.

To put it back just go to your H menu, the bar in the top middle, go to your second free plot and back
And it will then go back where you want it.

There's is a way to "connect" them, but requires a 2nd person, so if you have access to a 2nd account/friend you can both move/place things at the same time, in this case you can move the HH and the last hallway so that they are kinda mushed together just right, you'll need a door on both of them however so you can pass thru

Ive noticed when placing a pavillon next to Alchemist house or another pavillon that i could get it closer if: it was under construction but not finished. Try clicking the patio instead before trying the conservatory to check your aim, if the patio is highlighted red you'll be able to see if you need to go further up or down. Once you get the patio highlighted green, anything that wants to sit on them will/i think/

Something to try is turning your camera and aim sensitivity all the way down in settings

What Snail said... you can put stuff in the walls by opening them up from the H menu. There's an option to have no wall there at all, so you can put stuff there and then add the wall with the arch back in and the stuff you placed will stay there. Just make sure you do this before you've attached anything to the wall, because that stuff goes back into your inventory when you open up the wall.

I live in constant fear of opening the wrong wall.

My problem is that I have gotten to the point that I mostly float and sink things using the wall now, so those things are attached to the wall. But it's very easy to forget that they are attached to the wall since they are somewhere else in the room. So I've started trying to remember to then switch the anchor to the floor.

I am obsessed with "anchorless" floating.

Hi all, I've been pulling my hair over this issue. Also I have been sent here from #💻│tech-help

I've also sent tickets about this issue to the devs and only got generic answers back telling me to restart the game, so I'm hoping someone has had this issue and found a way to resolve it. For reference I play on PC via Steam

Here's the issue:
Since the patch, I have been unable to edit/move/place/remove any of my rooms or items when I open the topdown view when pressing "H"

I've tried all the work arounds:

(1) Restart the game
(2) Walk in/out of Kilima
(3) Open Premium store
(4) Uninstall/reinstall game
(5) delete App data file
(6) delete cache
(7) Verify the integrity of the game files

Interestingly enough, my friends who have "Editor" permissions is able to do all those changes (except for removal).

I had another friend log into my account on their laptop and they were able to edit/move/remove rooms and all place able items when in "H" mode.

Any help would be appreciated, as the devs aren't actually giving me any solutions.

Also I have finished all the main quests so it's not quest locked

So you can use the "one-cup" method. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YIPqzSsldZQ&t=1631s Basically, you use the wall of your house to sink your item. You just need to be able to put a builders pillar or block onto your original anchor (you can cancel your floated item away if you need to). Place a builders block on your wall, then replace it one time just to fix any weird rotation. (I like to line it up perfectly in the grid so that it's easy to see how far I'm floating or sinking.) Then you put a builders pillar (or block) on the anchor you want to sink. Then group select with that pillar and cancel place the pillar onto the side of the block on the wall. Then group select from the block and slide the block down the wall and place it. The pillar/anchor combo will snap back to where it was but sunk however far you moved the block down. The best thing is that you can do it repeatedly to adjust until you have it the way you want. (BUT BEWARE! The anchor you just sunk is now anchored to the wall of your house. So if you remove the wall for some reason, your stuff will go into inventory. I switch the anchor to the floor so I don't do that accidentally.)

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of ranching, so I'm gradually getting rid of most of my animals, but I think I'm going to keep goobis for the flowers! Plus they don't seem to need to be fed as often.

Yes, there's a limit to the distance (I can't remember what it is because I've been doing it inside).

But if you're talking about something outside, you can then anchor it to the ground and move it anywhere. I just checked this. I sunk a paver with a chair attached using the side of my house. Then I put the block on the ground. Did the same group select of the pillar on my anchor and cancel placed it on the side of the block. Then I group selected with the block and moved the thing clear to the other side of my plot. It stays sunken, but now it's anchored to the ground and moved to a different part of my plot--the distance from the house doesn't matter because it's no longer anchored to the house. I left to Kilima and came back to make sure, but it stayed!

12 white squares away from the house wall before u disconnect, but can go the length of it as far as u want, and have unlimited height. Limitless distance on floor in all directions, but height is 13 crates before it un-anchors. Outside ground is 6 crates high, limitless in direction

There's a phoenix statue you will get from a quest (but it's not a recipe, so you only get one). The little chapaa planter can look like a statue, too, if you dye it alabaster.

If you point your mouse directly at the floor, it will snap together and attach. If instead you point your mouse away from the floor, it can still snap to the next floor, but it won't actually attach.

Turning the grid off can help too, if its being real finicky

When placing the next piece point your mouse in the opposite direction of the first one, and move ur mouse in that direction as far as u can before it "un-snaps".

There are several ways to build out of bounds, however you need to aquire all of your plot first. I find the simplest is to place a sort of bridge, by placing floors in a line (not connected between them), then group select from one end and drag all to the nearest edge and place.
This will give you a way to reach far into areas an keep building from the floor that is there, also you could remove the ones you don't need

I don't have the plush park but I think I heard those tents are 1 crate over ground level (might be wrong) in case you do it

it's the hitbox, u have to either angle ur camera, or if it isn't sitting on anything, place a smaller object on top of it and multi-select by that. Having anything close to it can give u issues picking it up so u may have to move or cancel place them away

Yeah since it's a wall item it will come out of ur inv. upright like it's hanging. So u would have to flick it onto the plate and use rotational floating for it to get it at the right height and angle

Since it is already upright, it should stay that way once flicked onto the plate without angling it

I think you can put a plate or paver on the wall with the spiral web, place or flick I cant remember your wall item, and then it will lay down from the paver but im not logged in to double check
