yeah i actually was so disappointed that it was part of it. I even say that as someone who spends decently in the premium store and doesn't have anything against it. It could have easily been added as a recipe to Tish's store or something or a guild shop to buy from Ashura....you know with all the coins seasoned players are capped at and have nothing left to spend them on

If you use the plate method, you can then move the book wherever you want, which is a bonus over the old way with the bowl. The plate gets sunken into the book so you can't see it, and you can pick up the book with the plate and put it on any placeable surface, and rotate it, too.

You might have to cancel the book away to grab the plate, but it will pop back together when you place the plate again.

Also, you can rotate the plate less to get a book that is angled, although you will probably be able to see the plate a little that way.

Another tip. You cannot just stack the books, because they don't have a placeable surface, but you can use dessert plate stacks hidden inside to stack them.... place a dessert plate stack, put your flat book on top, and then cancel place that all away and place another book to be the bottom.

This is what you can get by not rotating the plate the full 90 degrees... there is a plate under there, but luckily you can only see it from a certain angle.

There's another way I use, but in this idea too I cancel the lower book from its plate and put a plate stack on said plate, that way you can put the second one on top without a problem and keep it all in one stack to move it anywhere

2. cancel-placing the floors out of the way
3. placing a pillar on top of the paver then alt-selecting from the pillar
4. cancel-placing the pillar (paver still attached) against a block inside the house
5. alt-select from the block (so it selects the block, pillar, and paver all together) and move it down 1 small cube so it sinks everything

okay, well - sinking it like normal worked, i guess i'll just have to hide the paver the regular way XD

you can float the aristocrat mirror off a pillar by

1. placing the pillar down
2. cancel placing the pillar where you want the mirror to be (distance relative to the pillar's original point)
3. placing the aristocrat mirror on the pillar (at the height you want it)
4. pick up then replace the pillar down, and the mirror will float off the pillar

then you can move the pillar so the aristocrat mirror is layered on top of the dragontide. you'll have to mess with the distance though so you can hide the pillar (you can potentially glitch it into a wall i think, by alt+selecting another pillar placed right next to it)

i managed to get it like this, but you could probably hide the pillar a bit farther into the wall ?

i really hate the hitboxes on these flowers

Hi! I’m trying to do the sideways book glitch with the soup bowl and it’s not working. I’m on Switch! It’s worked before with the Homestead Dining Table but now I’m doing it with the Dragontide Sideboard and it’s just not working.

I just redid this entire wall! Why? Because with the cobweb, I was able to remove 26 items since I don't need all the anchors and floors and shelves that were hiding behind everything. It's also much more lined up and neat.

You can flick them onto plates that are out of bounds! You can float the rug from that anchor off of the floor under the table so you dont get a gap between the rug and the table

Hmm, actually! Do you have a spiral web? You may be able to flick it on with that! With the spiral web it flicks when highlighted green instead of needing to say something is in the way, and it flicks onto most surfaces

Rugs are special and I think they won't flick on anything except the ground. I tried a plate and a paver, also out of bounds, and nothing will take the rug. I also tried to flick the rug directly onto a table out of bounds, but no luck. If you're using a large rug, then you can put it on a builders floor and use the cobweb to move the floor/rug combo onto the table. But other than that, I think you have to float it.

No, the stacking is only for the new alchemist line. The two housing lines do not connect to one another either. They are completely separate entities.

You are able to flick rugs onto tables, etc. That's how I did this -

It could be that their plot is bugged or something? I know certain items are more difficult to flick now as well (needing to stand at a certain angle etc.) Also, if they are flicking inside, it is snapping to the ground below it, it has to be done out of bounds. And since each rug acts differently, one can be more difficult to flick than another

It could be the rug, too. I tried two different ones, but obviously not every single rug there is. Nothing I did would let me flick the rug onto the table. It kept going to the ground underneath.

Those collision checks messed everything up, so it'll take a bit to figure out what it is that's causing it. Usually I ony run into issues if I am flicking a wall item and not standing at a certain angle (cardinal direction), or if there is anything underneath the item's anchor that I am trying to flick

Or if I am standing too far into the item that I am holding. For some reason that causes issues

Re-positioning ur rooms on your house is the only way around it, rlly (without glitching). It's a rlly old bug that ppl sometimes run into. Attach it on the opposite side of the home, with that wall facing out and nothing attached to it and u should be able to put wallpaper on it. Another option would be flicking it on if u play on pc.

It's very similar to cancel placement if u've ever used it. You have the item u wish to flick in ur inv. hotbar, and while holding a shelf or other wall item that you have already placed on a wall, stand against it so it says "something is in the way" hold ur left mouse button in and hit the number key containing ur wallpaper.

So place a shelf on the wall, pick it up, hold it against the wall, and instead of placing it again, hold the mouse button and hit the number key for the wallpaper while standing in the way.

3 options to get it to work:

• if on PC you can flick it on. Plenty of guides on YT
• you can temporarily move the room. Attach it to the other side of the harvest with that wall facing outwards. You don't want anything attached to that room.
• keep trying to place it every time you log in/relog. It may eventually work one random time

Yeah, you can't attach the kilima porch to the front of any harvest house. The porch you saw comes premade on the grand harvest house, which is a 2 story building you can buy at town/city hall

Depends on the build. Flowers can take upwards of 1k if you max out their suggested limit.

Personally if you look at a breakdown of my main plot you would probably see a large portion of it is dedicated to builders stone flooring & Square concrete pavers because that's what I use for my rectilinear pathing.

The fact that we don't have true "pathing" items that aren't those unsightly bridge pieces is one of Palia major pitfalls that eats up a lot of players item limits.

That also being said the item limit is more of a suggestion these days so

Do you plan on having a tree within 5 builders floors of where you want it? You can hide builders pillars in a tree and float from the top of the pillar

Most are part of furniture sets... like the umbraan fences are in the outer umbraan set from Subira in the EW, the ranchers set that Delailah has now has the rancher fences, and there's a picket fence that I think Tish has. Oh and when you finish the bundles in the Temple you can unlock the emberborn fence. There's also the basic one we start with and the camping fence, which you also get early on. Ravenwood fences were in the spooky store, so I think you can't get those until next Halloween? It all depends on the style you're looking for.

A bit late but, as of now, you cannot have anything between a house floor and a crafter/storage/cooking stations or they will get yeeted to the entrance or otherwise floated in weird places
If you want to place them on blocks or something similar you'll need to anchor those on (outside) ground

Hmm, yes I think that is too high if they're not all staying, I think you'd have to hide an anchor high up somewhere then that stays. You may be able to hide something in the building behind it since it's close

Floating is different, though. That's what I was saying before. You can build that high, but you can't float things that high. You have to chain your anchors. So float an anchor off an anchor, and then float another anchor off that anchor, etc.

Ohh yes! The bellflower small rug then, I flicked it onto a plate and used the spiral web to get it on the wall! I used a plate stack so it would hide the travel board

Put a shelf on any wall except the front wall of your house. Put your pot on the shelf. Then move the shelf with the pot on it to the front wall of your house. The pot will explode the flowers out and you can grab them out of the air.

Okay, so yeah, you can't place that one on a shelf (it must be ground only). I can remove the plants without much problem, but I have to point down lower than it seems like I should have to. But you can make it work with the wall of the house... I put a builders floor on the shelf, which is on a builders wall, and then I was able to put the urn on the floor. Then I moved it to the inside wall of an alchemist cottage (it needs to be the inside for the cottage, but the outside for a harvest house), and poof, everything ended up outside the back of the house. The other option that might work is that you can put the urn in an empty room and pick up the entire room. It should just put the urn and the flowers into inventory, unless it decides it wants you to remove everything from inside the room first.

You need to sink the floor as well as move it out of bounds, but you will have to place the item or items on the floor first before you sink it. Older videos might show you being able to just place things on the sunken floor, but the grid for the floor is no longer visible on the surface so you won't be able to place anything on the floor once it's underground.

It works the same way on the harvest house, but you have to use the outside front wall. Everything will pop off the shelf into the air in front of the harvest house.

Sinking and floating is just canceling with an anchor, which can be something like a paver that is not that hard to hide. You can probably find a lot of useful videos, but basically you will place your anchor and then cancel place it lower. Then you put your floor that you want to sink on that anchor. When you pick up the anchor and place it down again, the floor piece will be sunk--it will sink the distance that you originally lowered the anchor. (And if you want to float, you cancel place the anchor higher.) It's hard to explain, but definitely look for YT videos about sinking and floating and hopefully it will be more helpful than my explanation!

You should know that a lot of the floors (including the new ones) don’t look the same on the wall. They end up striped.

Yes! But I have an easier time if I hold the mouse, then hold the hot key, hold both together for about a second and release the hotkey

I glitch very fast but it's not the case, it's like with making art, drawing of high quality can take minutes but it consists also years of work and practice before that count too

I do a lot of this, using lots of different variations of the technique, but this is the video where I got started… Also you can use the cobweb now to have a little more flexibility if you just tilt a builders floor first. I usually focus on one tree type but I don’t skip mining nodes. So I come back with like 600 sapwood and then some copper and silver, for example.
