Yes, I keep crashing. Occasionaly FPS becomes abominably low just before crashing and other times it's just a surprise. I cannot do the piksii bounce either.

Well, I've been trying to do weird stuff, too, but the crashes are random. It's happened when trying to do something like tilt a terrace, but it has also happened when I'm watering flowers or even just standing still! It does seem to happen in build mode more often, but I have mostly been in build mode.

I'm on a mac, so it's not... normal? I have it set on 12 in game (and 11 in the launcher I use), and I'm afraid to change it. People who don't set it that way can't even get the game to load, so I'm reluctant to change the in game settings because if I can't even get in, I can't change them back. (There is not really direct x on a mac, but there are workarounds apparently. I don't understand it all--as long as I can play...)

Historically they would have had a stables here. You could also add a shooting range for bows, or a sword practice area. An outdoor bakery is also a good option tho u can do that inside as well

the roof was made on ground, group selected and connected to that one floor piece, the rest tho was shaped first with lower crate blocks, all pillars were done by turning whole structure on a shelf, at all the angles repetedly to create, well, repeating pattern of my random design that came to me out of the void i stare into tbh, no idea

place the shelf on the outside wall of your house put a pillar on top group select with the pillar place it on the ground. take the pillar off and do the same with the next one but have the shelf go to top of the other depending how deep you want it and just repeat till you get your height. put the pillar back on the bottom shelf and group select put it where you want it and then remove the pillar

you can change the A and B cottages to be basically just boxes which are the base rooms. It's not worth even buying base rooms because they come with nothing--no windows, no ivy, no otehr stuff. All I have bought are A and B, and then I remove the stuff I don't want (like doors) and save it for later. With A and B you are basically buying base rooms with stuff stuck on them, and they are the only way to get that stuff.

Yes, exactly. I also did not contribute any materials until I had them all to contribute at once. It's luckily only 45 seconds. Then if you do pick the house up (like to put in your inventory to take to a different plot), take all the add-ons off first. It's better to just move it from place to place rather than picking it up if you want to be extra safe.

I was having trouble with some pavers even before the update. The round stone ones, specifically. I have not been able to float anything on those because they seem to act like rugs--stuff just goes right through them.

If you mean mirror them, you can place them from the inside and they will be a reflection of what they are on the outside. But I have not tried actually rotating them.

Hiii! I have a question! I just bought the new alchemist cottages both A and B plus the base room but when I put them down on my plot and pick them back up they all turned to base room. Looks like the only things that made A and B special are the add ons like columns, roofs, ivy etc

Is this real or am I tripping???

For those who wanted to know how to do sideways books: Step 1 - Put a plate on the edge of a shelf. Step 2 - Turn the shelf vertically. Step 3 - Pick up shelf in same exact spot and move down 1 small square, and to the right between 0 and 1/2 of a small square, turning off the grid. Cancel place. Step 4 - Place the book on top of the plate. Pick up and place the shelf and u have a sideways book anchored to a plate inside it.

I tried to put up the spring lights like in this picture (this was on the palia patch notes so i figured you would be able to do it) but its not letting me put them on the flat roof 😔 It will be super disappointing if they used pictures of things that arent possible.

After discovering that only the purple void landscape is 2~3 walls deep while you can have like 9 walls on everything else, I promised myself to make the biggest underground dungeon posible. Making it upside down will not be detrimental actually
Only downside is that you can't use the cooking trick on house tours

cutting tool curently doesnt work... thats part of the issue.... unless theres some new function on it that works without needing to see the grid map on swapped to plot

pls explain ur meaning cause i feel like im missing something here.... in order to use cutting tool u needed to be able to swap plots and place the piece on swapped plot grid before it disappeared.... or is there a new cutting tool that works on a singular plot?

That's not a cutting tool, that's ghosting (which has been patched since EW release)

The cutting tool is a build where you glitched rooms into each others and that merged room thingy allows you to put anything on it that will make the room/add-on a standalone piece

Atm i want to buy the farming landscape and rebuild some of my ideas (pictures in that post).
No matter if sale or not.

But maybe get rid off the kitchen and build it more matching into a farmhouse.

i used the cutting tool to make my glass patio on my current plot set up..... in order to disconnect the bay windows.....

Ghosting worked to either merge rooms or cut them off, but that was still ghosting (As long as it was a manipulation from one plot to another)

However, while you could change the walls opening with ghosting, you can't do that with the cutting tool, nor change the place of your cut room after cutting it

At least, that's why I'm assuming, @feral cape can correct me if I'm saying BS xD

If I remember correctly TinyDragon has a workaround that uses a two small builders stone block, a small terrace, and another fence...
