The smaller building I haven't started on its design yet because I need the dragon tide tub and the spa set

The idea of the whole plot is "Luxury Resort"

For the main building the door opens to the reception desk (going to shift it back a few steps. Into an open hall where the resort awards are proudly displayed. Immediately off the grand hall is the banquet hall where guests can enjoy world class 10 course meals with others in a shared experience high class dining experience.

Up the stairs is the black tie cocktail area. But go up the stairs and you will find a cozy, rustic tavern space for a break from the high class areas. Head out back to the summer fun outdoor lounge before following the halls to find your room. Guests can fine the Dragon suite, Ravenwood tenement, capital chic chamber, the umbran clearing, (last major suite is undecided), and the standard getaway chambers (industrial). Just off the main hall and outside is the courtyard where you can experience the magic of the fae and flowers in this soothing soft space. Step over to the resorts 5 star spa and beauty parlor. Take a private hot soak in water from the purest mineral springs, get a mani Pedi with one of of style consultants or find an all new hair do in our salan.

Looking for family fun, we have life size board games the whole family can play, chappas and hunter, as well as a nature flvs tech. Chess set! Fun photo ops and even a celebration pavilion!

Since you can do cancel placement on switch now, you can also just push things out of bounds using builder's pieces, but like Lady Satori said, the easiest way is to just build out.

The way I did it is a bit weird, but somewhat easy

Just take your blocks and rotate so that the top of the one you add is facing up so you can put the paver on

You have to cancel place to adjust the blocks tho bc they don't snap that way

and no, sadly we can't stack them. They have to be glitched if you want to merge them, and they have no grid so you can't put stuff on top.

so you can either float/sink them, or just use cancel placement to get them closer to each other

You could also put them on a builder's piece and multi-select from that piece and it should let you place them closer to one another

That would require flicking without the addition of a terrain piece tho

You would put the rock on a terrain piece, put a builder's piece (pillar, crate, etc.) on top of the terrain piece, and then multi_select from that.

If you are trying to float it, then you would need to place the item you are floating it off of on the ground normally, then cancel place that item on top of something to the height you want, then place the item you wish to float on that item.

I would, however, recommend that you sink it into whatever you are using as the base.

Put a plate or something small on top of the investigators piece, multi-slect from that, and set it on top of the dresser or whatever you are using, after you have set it up to sink

@elfin cosmos Put your dresser on the shelf (I used crates to move it further from the wall to avoid collision). Cancel place the shelf as far down as you need from it's original position. Put a plate or something small on top of the side table (I used the desk), and multi-select from that. Place it on top of the dresser. Pick up your shelf and place it normally to merge them

The shelf. The crates are on the shelf, and what the dresser is sitting on, so they move with the shelf.

I just used them to get some distance from the wall and the dresser so that the side table doesn't collide with the roof when trying to put it on top

They way I was taught floating was to move to paver to shelf then select number slot of pillar then immediately after select the items u want to float - confirm then move paver to floor to float. I’m not familiar cancel place

Selecting the item from a number key is cancel placement. You are temporarily locking the held item (the shelf) into place wherever you were holding it when you pulled the item out via the number key

Though be careful which tutorials you watch, bc some call it ghosting, which is a completely different thing, and is also obsolete now

lol, so you did it just backwards. Getting close

Make sure that the shelf is placed on the wall without using the number key first, then pick the shelf up in the same exact position on the wall, then move it down however far you wish to sink the item into it, then use the number key to lock the shelf there. Place your item on top, and then pick up the shelf and place without number key to activate

Be sure you're doing obstacle flick with a floor item, making sure the item grabbed was already placed on ground, and making sure to see the something in the way. And I would hold in mouse button then press alt placement key (mine is v)

There are plenty of tutorials that may explain it better on YouTube but I'll try my best. You want the item you're hoping to place in your inventory (in this case it's your wallpaper) let's call this item A. You'll want your item b, the one that you want to just remove later, we will call this item b. (in this case make sure it's an item that can sit on the floor.) place item b down on ground anywhere first. Then move it to somewhere on the floor that makes the game say "something is in the way!" (I usually just stand really close to it, using myself as the 'obstacle') hold down your left click or main placement but don't release. While holding, press the number key that matches the number your item A (wallpaper here) and you should be set

Hi! Switch user here as well! You can use industrial shelves instead of the builder's floor to have a cleaner look. Just use a pillar and a house wall so you can group select the pillar, place it on the ground, and repeat the process. And then if you want a smoother placement after you've stacked the shelves, place the pillar on the lowest step and add a gourmet dessert bowl on top of it and then group select the dessert bowl.

I don't like things that I can't make look good, and while this may look good on the inside, it doesn't look very good on the outside, and I think the best solution to that would be to put a hallway on top of the incomplete fireplace.

Since it's no longer possible to do that solo (not easily or feasible for most) it would require two accounts, and at that point it just gets too complex for most people.

And I try to shy away from the actual complex stuff.

There are a few ways to do it. You can remove the door, place the floor pieces and then put the door back after cancel placing the floor pieces out of the way. You can also push them into position using cancel placement and a builder's piece.

I can't think of any specific tutorial that shows cancel placing them out of the way off the top of my head, but the pushing thing has been shown in multiple, coderedalert I believe shows it, I have shown it, and a few others.

But the easiest way if you are new is to just remove the door place the pieces where you want, then move them out of the way temporarily with cancel placement and put the door back on

Nope, it's just a way to merge things while avoiding collision. You are temporarily locking the item in a spot out of the way so you can place something else

You may see ppl refer to it as ghosting, but that is incorrect. Ghosting is a seperate and obsolete glitch.

So for example, you CAN use certain colors to pull of Wasi Sabi look or Japandi. So in my house, my furniture is neutral but my wall is deep, dark orange. It's earthy with a play on jeweltone, but the Wasi Sabi vibe comes from simplified decor/minimalism, and its neutrality, because most of my furniture is thrifted vs. my Chabudai table.

Its hard for me to understand him but I did get the first key binding double jump trick from him. I try to conceptually understand the tricks rather than just copying the action but it takes longer for me to learn things

I would start by curving them in the opposite direction. And all you have to do to get them to spiral is sit one on top of another and then just rotate it by however many you want, then make sure the corners are right on top of each other in the center of the curve.

Japandi has Scandinavian functionality according to Google, but honestly they look so similar to me upon first glance, other than color palate

Scandinavian design is very similar to Japanese in aesthetics. They like natural wood and outdoor elements, with clean and simple lines, earthy tones, etc.
