There's a trick, you need to fill up your inventory with furnitures (don't forget to fill up your amo pouch as well) and when you get to the pile, it'll only say you can pick it up if it's a recipe But you'll have to server hop a lot

I noticed when I was building out of bounds that if they sit on the floors, they teleport, but I had my floors covered in wood pavers, and the ones that sat on them stayed. I was building a dock and that's why I did it that way

you can sometimes build out of bounds , I did it with my shipping bin and mail box - its tricky but you can get floor boards under it . once you get one the rest go into place

Yeah, the problem is whether you build out of bounds or not, crafters and trees tend to teleport bc they aren't anchored to the ground anymore

So when you build something it has the stone pattern on the left. I wasn't careful when messing around with the wallpaper and I removed the stone pattern and could not find it anywhere in my storage to put it back. Then I tried buying something that seemed to be the same, but it's not (as seen on the right) . Is there a way to get the original stone pattern back without building a whole new house/room? pls help

Definitely go bigger with the rugs. Smaller ones cut the space off in that section, and makes the whole porch feel larger. You would end up having to make a ton of tiny sections to make it feel full

We switch the paired key for placing an item, the glitch anchors an item to something and it can be paired to it close or far away to float it, and then the opposite of that to sink it..

The opposite of the floating was sinking so the paver went under the ground, is that the same as the floating but just reversed? So not flicking still right

No, that's just floating and sinking. Flicking is putting something down like a floor piece, picking it up and moving it to where you want the other item to sit, then mashing the place button while hitting the number key the item you want to place is in. Instead of the floor piece getting placed, the item is pulled from your inv and placed there instead

Hey so I did some quick maths and turns out I need about 800-1000 pavers just to make my pathing around my plot to function. These alone are just 100 and I need so much more of them. How did you all manage to make your paths while still making them take up less of the decor limit? Honestly IMO pavers taking up decor limit is insane, they should behave like flowers and have their own limit.

I guess they only reasonable solution is to thin the path? But I really don't want to do that...

just built a big house that covered more than 50% of the plot. You could move the house up a little and make the farm area larger, i.e flowers around it and a fence or so- and the workshop and the flower garden as well. Once you make a hill with landscaping you'll realize that takes up quite a lot of space as well

Weirdly, the obstacle flicking works for some objets, but not all. For exemple, it doesn't work with builder walls, while it's ok with builder blocks (sorry, it's late here, and my English is very bad when I'm tired -_-).

Maybe you're just going through a phase.
There was a time I couldn't get it to work for me for weeks. Took like 10+ tries to do the simplest oflick.
Got to the point where it would only work the first time or never at all, so if I couldn't get it after two tries, I would leave my plot and come back and try again.

I don't know why it became a problem, and I don't know why it stopped being a problem. I have no issues with it at all now.

I think the issue is that the Shrine is the biggest thing in the room, so it dwarfs everything else, and it's all you can focus on. Maybe add height to the cases? You can do stone like the planters to help blend it in. Also, definitely needs more purple to match the rest.

Ah yes that's me, it's the log cabin wall shelf that is there using the trick @feral cape showed me of borrowing surfaces for placement. So they're all anchored onto a pillar that's in a different spot

nope -.- fastest way is planting on it and hoping it untilt after harvest

not sure of the buttons across devices, but yes you can and on pc if you right click with hoe it will get rid of the tile!

Drake Lance used to flick ceiling lamps underground to give nice lighting for the house entrance

Then I flicked lamps inside conservatory floor to give more light for plants

I sure did way back. Obstacle flicked all of these lights directy to the ground and to the floor of the house. It gives a nice glow to anything you place close to it.

I built the floor of the ground, had to use cancelation to get the shape pieces all on, then I group selected it and put the floor on some wood pillars, I sunk 2 pillars together to make it 1 1/2 tall. Then put it all in and got @feral cape to help me get the builder wood post in, it's sunk down a bit

So...the good news is, I got the ||devilfish|| I was missing. The bad news is, its tank meant there was no longer room for the shelves to be arranged like that and I had to chop down some of my fish tree

However, the OTHER good news is that now there's TWO fish trees.
