So I'm trying to get the last rootseeker medallion and I've gotten all the chests and completed the quests and I haven't received the last one what do I do?

Is there no way to remove tint anymore? I haven't been able to get to the eraser since the update that added copy tint.

Putting the decor item into your storage will destroy the tint. I haven't used tints, so I don't know if there's a way to remove and recover tints. the posters in #🏡│decor would probably know.

one should not NEED to go online and watch a video for a part of a quest, where after you do something, it says "go talk to this person to update them" and they are standing about 150 feet away from your quest, but ZERO indicator on map or direction "true treasure quest" after every step, it says update auni. but not where auni actually is to update them.

So my best friend who plays on Xbox is having a weird glitch where she sets down a wooden crate, then puts a storage chest on top of it, the. Leaves and when she comes back, the chests are floating or sunk under the ground.

That is a known issue with the builders set, #🏡│decor may have ways to help anchor the item, but essentially you can't place any storage or crafters ontop of the crates, even the floors can cause issues

Storage chests are considered crafters. They have to be touching the floor inside your house or the ground outside. They can go on an anchor like a builders block or floor, but that has to be touching the ground outside. There can't be an object between the crafter/chest and the floor of the house, or else it will teleport to the entrance of your plot.

It's just to let you know the board has changed I'm pretty sure. It should go away once you interact with it but a few people have reported that it sticks around for a bit.

The reason im asking is i actually cant receive the last chest on my board even though ive donated all items except the snowy furniture and my friend was able to receive the last chest without those but i cannot 🙁

You might need just a bit more xp to get there, you can get xp doing dailies and weekly challenges

Probably not. For some recipes that have dough as an intermediate ingredient, you roll out the wheat directly. Regarding vinegar, we don't have the wine, cider, etc. commonly used to make it.

I think it builds up when you aren't in-game. When you earn XP from skills, you passively use the resting XP to boost the XP toward the Lunar Path. From the Patch notes: "[S]o we’re also introducing a bonus system to help players catch up who don’t have as much time to spend: Rest XP! Every new Palia day (each real life hour), you’ll bank a certain amount of Rest XP which will multiply the Lunar XP from skills by 10x until it is used up. If you don’t use it, you can bank up to 24 hours of this bonus XP so that the next time you log in you can really catch up quickly."

Hey all!! i was in here not too long ago!! i was having issues completing the top bar for my bundle board. ive done multiple weeklies and dailies and i still havent received my last box. my bar has been stuck at full but nothing 🙁

The bar continues a bit underneath the icon for the chest. There's a good chance you just need a tiny bit more xp to complete the bar.

I've done 4 weeklies while the bar remained that way.

It's unlikely bugged and you probably do need more XP. You won't be able to see the bar as it's under the chest.

Do some NPC gifts, complete more weekly tasks, and you can probably fill it up later tonight or tomorrow.

The chest will light up/twinkle just as the others did when they were ready.

Weeklies give such a tiny amount honestly, I understand it's frustrating but if you do another daily tomorrow/the next time you are able to play you should get it! The dailies give huge chunks of xp

I was very frustrated one day because I was so close, but the dailies didn't do it. But the next day they did, so hopefully you'll get it tomorrow.

If you did this at the time of posting, the weekly reset happened 24 minutes before you posted. The night moth would have been "last week's" gift.

Palia Tracker, etc will likely not be updated yet.

You can use the discover button on the bulletin board to find this week's weekly wants

I filled my inventory and ammo inventory and have been going back and forth to the rummage pile and resetting the server for 50 minutes straight. Is it even possible to get the new recipe I need with this method?

Yes but you need to meet some prerequisites first, all snowy recipes require that you know the recipes or have purchased for the terraces, so in order to get the snowy parasol or pavilion for example, you need to know how to make the Cozy camp pavilion (3k essence from Subira) and the summer stripe umbrella (bahari rummage)

As for the snowy lawn you need to have bought atleast 1 of each of the terraces from kenlis register, atleast to my knowledge

I'm pretty sure I have and crafted every single recipe in the game except for the ones you buy from wandering around the elderwoods.

Other than that its just down to RNG, some have gotten it on their 2nd or 3rd try, others have been server hopping for days and havent gotten what they need

Fortunately you dont need to complete the bulletin board to finish the quest and open the chests, as daily and weekly missions count towards unlocking them

Snowballs can also be gotten as a single item in the rummage piles as well

Yesterday I got 40 snowballs and a potato, and it went through because only my regular inventory was full. I felt so betrayed.

It doesn't matter what you have in your ammo bag as long as every stack is full of that thing. If you are trying to cycle through the options of the rummage pile to only get the snowy recipes

But what I was confirming was that it is possible to get the recipe paired with more snowballs and if your inventory is full it won't allow you to accept it. And if you leave it available for snowballs, then you might get just snowballs or snowballs paired with junk items like a potato

so if you are eliminating snowballs to avoid snowballs + potato, you also are avoiding snowballs + recipe as rummage pile loot

The snowballs really foul things up so it doesn't work perfectly. But it's possible that you won't get the recipe with the snowballs full since it might try to give you snowballs with the recipe.

I really hope they don't do this same thing again next month.

It is best to carry full slots else you may get more snowballs alone or snowballs + a potato.

Yeah imma try it. It worked well last time with Flotsam Decor and the Summer Striped set.

I don't know if this will work, but I think it might. I got the snowy pavilion recipe today, paired with 20 snowballs (I wasn't doing the full inventory thing, I just got lucky). So perhaps (and I can't promise this is true), if you had a single stack of snowballs filled with 80 (so it will accept the 20 that go with the recipe) and everything else full, you might be able to get the recipe + 20 snowballs combo. The only problem is that I have no idea if it's always 20 snowballs, just that this is what I got today. The other day I got just 55 snowballs, so that wouldn't have worked if I only had space for 20. It's all kind of guesswork, so it might be worth a try.

Yes, that is true. I am not as concerned about those, but I know others really want them, so it's just a crummy system this month. I hope lots of people are sending in feedback about it so that hopefully they don't make this mistake again.

Yeah, it feels poorly thought out. I'd be interested to know if it's a small number of us complaining and experiencing this or if it's common. I can understand if there are relatively few people having the terrible RNG. Just sucks to be in the group with the terrible RNG luck

I feel like tons of people are having this problem, so it can't just be a small number of us. If they want to do it this way then the drop rate should be much much higher.

But it's also the fact that we can't get the snowballs for those recipes anymore either, except by luck. So it's a double whammy of being at the mercy of the RNG. You need 400 snowballs to complete all the recipes, once you finally get the recipes!

And those Kilima Coins don't have a cap on them so many players want them even if nothing is in the shop they want atm cuz they are saving for when things do drop that they want.

I've been wasting all my Kilima coins on waterlogged chests because I've had only one waterlogged item missing for months now.

The bag is the same as the rummage pile but we just view it differently because the pile is free....so free carrot is still free, but pay 20 kilima coins and get a carrot and it's a rip off

From how I understand it, the 50% only applies to the base rate, so lets say Maws has a base catch rate of 3%. adding 50% to that only boosts it to a whooping.. 4.5%, (rough math) so I wouldn't really say its worth getting, I mean a small increase is better than nothing but still

I hadn't used the maws one yet I had used the essence one I was surprised it lasts 4 hours

And anyone who did have good results also said they server hopped, which seems to help somewhat anyway so I wouldn't buy those bags.

I think if it was a flat 50% modifier it would be better, but that also seems a little over powered

I was getting more essence for a lot of things but maybe only 1-2 per item....I used it to finally get enough to buy the Elderwood Protector nameplate that costs 20,000 essence. But I did not get an increase to every item, as some of the essence orbs were still 1 essence

Now I am very slowly going for the last level of the nameplate for 39,500 essence

you need a summer stripe umbrella and the snowballs to craft the snowy parasol. Is it saying you don't have any recipe for the parasol or is it saying you don't have a summer stripe umbrella first?

Ai says: this often happens due to server sync issues or if they aren't actively in the game, but can sometimes be fixed by both players returning to their plots or restarting the game. Ensure your friend's plot security is set to 'Friends' and you're on the same server for easier visits, as this message means they aren't logged into their housing instance.

There is also some post on reddit: There's a known issue currently when trying to sync with someone from a different region. Only workaround at the moment is changing your region with a VPN.

Never encountered myself, so this is the best I can do.

Yes that means they are stuck in the quest last know location unthil you finish it, try talking with them trough there doors when they are supposed to be sleeping

every time i tried to enter the night sky temple the game would crash, so I was looking for solutions on the internet and saw a video that told me to verify the games files are installed correctly from steam and then try running as administrator from the exe file

but when I did that the game stopped opening, so i unchecked the run as administrator option from compatibility but the game still keeps not loading and it crashes even if it loads

Does anyone know if the snowy pavilion will come if your inventory is full (including ammo) or do you have to have space for snowballs? I tried it once with room for snowballs and just got 5 snowballs and a carrot that was sent to overflow storage. I've been trying for the pavilion for the past 1.5 hours with both inventory and ammo full but either my RNG is awful or it's not working because I don't have space for snowballs :/

Yes, you will need to finish this quest in order for Auni and Naio to go back to their normal schedule for you. This quest series keeps them locked in location in Elderwood for the duration of the quests. (with the exception of their sleep times from 12AM+ as noted by Ninwes)

early on you can only pick up the floating blobs of essence which spawn at random around the map, so if that's the point you're at, just run around looking for more. later on by doing the main story you unlock ways to collect infected forage, creatures etc

Huh, it should attach unless there's something tiny in the grass that you dropped by accident and can't see... Try reloading your plot or game because sometimes it just acts weird. You can also try attaching it somewhere else and then dragging it to that spot.

bugs are a little more varied, depending on their spawn rate e.g. RTBs drop roughly 1/25, while lantern bugs are closer to 1/500

hey, i dont know what to do, i’m stuck again. i got both recipes for the bean burger and flowtato fries, and i have all of the ingredients but it still won’t let me start because “cooking station required” when i have two stoves. is there something i’m missing? like a third stove or is it a cooking level up thing?

You need 2 prep stations

those recipes require 2 prep stations. in general, its a good idea to have 2 of each cooking station so you're set for any recipe

this is the cooking station requirement for bean burgers, the reason you need 2 prep stations is because you start the recipe on a prep station, so you need a 2nd one to chop the vegetables

you'll need 1 stove and 2 prep stations for the fries, for the same reason

I cant find Auni and Nai'o anywhere. I currently have the following active for them: In Tents for Auni (he is not at the campsite I took the bag to), Bugging out (havent talked to him because I can't find him), The True Treasure (locate Prisimbeard's childhood home), and for Nai'o, Not Hungry. I got "In Tents" and "Not Hungry" after finishing the original Prisimbeard quests, but now they're gone again and not showing up in their usual locations. Based on this does anyone know where either of them might be? It has been frustrating dealing with quests that take them off the map rather than instancing them to the location when activated.

during the quests Prismbeard's Lost Treasure, The True Treasure, and Adventure on the Horizon, Auni and Nai'o will be locked into their locations in the elderwoods until you complete the line of quests.
If it helps, you should be able to talk to Auni through the entrance to his treehouse and Nai'o through his bedroom door between midnight and 4am in-game time.

The fairy mantis plush is a drop from collecting fairy mantises in Bahari Bay, the Farris is a new ranching animal, the Estate line is from the lunar paths, Path of the Kitsuu, the snowy decor are from kilima rummage piles but you need to know the corresponding recipes first, Cozy starter pack for the Pavilion is 3k essence in Elderwoods central stable, and the parasol is the summer stripe umbrella from bahari rummage piles, the Snowy Lawn 1,2,3 are the Terraces from Kenlis register in city hall, not craftable but need to be bought at least once so you "know it"

on your inventory, there's a button that's red with a moon on it. Click it and theres some season passes called "paths" and a special one for kitsu

They probably completed a quest or got a thing

I was also wondering if there is way to turn off outfit effects yet? I bought the house of Omata outfit and I like it, but like the Darling Dollette outfit, after a few seconds my character strikes a silly pose and I wish she didn't.

There is the trick with filling your inventories, but might take forever

So unfortunate issue; I'm having that game glitch where you've finished the "Nobody Won" quest and am trying my best to complete the Prismbeard quest. Two things. I had the pop up happen where I apparently found the first "X marks the spot" in the cave, but there's nothing on the wall/no dirt to dig. And two, now Auni and Naio are off the map. Tried going back to the Shipwreck Cave. Nothing. Anybody have a fix for this? 😅

So in this update we get the snowy furniture through the rummage piles. And i know there is a tip that you make your inventory full of decor and stuff you cant get from the rummage pile to get the recipe. WHY is it not working. I am crying

You'll need to contact support if you don't recall what email you used to make your palia.com account for your PS5 palia character. They'll be able to assist you.

Once you do have your Palia.com account information (that is linked to your PS5 character), you'll log into the PC Palia download with that palia.com account information, enabling you to play your PS5 character on PC.

If you feel like you never made a palia.com account, you can follow the upgrade instructions listed on the website (linked in the comment from Eff) and try to make a palia.com account for your PS5 character.

Ultimately if this doesn't work, contact support and they'll help you get your account linked.

Palia doesn't automatically create accounts for us -- we have to physically go to palia.com when creating a character and make an account.

So if you don't recall doing that, you can probably use the upgrade instructions yourself

If you didn't make an account, no you're not tied to any palia.com account. You're playing what support would call a "local save." In this case, you'll be able to link the accounts yourself by the Upgrade instructions.

Go here to the upgrade section, and follow those instructions. Use an email that has never been a palia.com account before.

Then, you can verify they linked correctly by logging into palia.com and going to the account management section, then scroll down to the characters section, and you should see your PS5 character here.

You'll then be able to log into the PC download of Palia with that same palia.com information

It's a recipe. You pick up one of your wooden chests and upgrade it at the crafting bench. Then do all the rest, one at a time.

If that's your Daily Task, it needs to be new plant fiber you just collected. If it is new plant fiber, you can restart your game and see if this helps

Sometimes the dailies take a bit to register, and sometimes restarting your game can help. If that doesn't work for you, send in a support ticket/bug report to let them know it was broken for you

Pretty confused. Last night, I planted all of my garden before I went to bed. Everything is still watered, still has fertilizer, etc. It's looks like I planted it 20 seconds ago. Nothing grew, at all over night. Usually it's done over night, I come and pick everything and replant, but it's all still "freshly planted."

It could be that perhaps you missed a watering cycle that you normally get before you log off -- which could be why they didn't reach the stage you were expecting.

Is there ANY other option for me to complete the ballgown questline that doesn't involve ||putting a stinkbug in Eshe's desk before a very important meeting with the duchess||?? I don't want to do that AT ALL. I really like Eshe by this point, her backstory is quite sad, and ||the duchess is a butthead who threatens the daiyas and manipulates people||. If anything I want to HELP Eshe with that meeting.

On a related note, because I maxed out Eshe and Kenyatta friendship several months ago (this is Jel's level 4 quest) this quest seems like a huge regression/out of character moment for Kenyatta. Seems like it should be earlier for Jel to prevent this (easiest for dev) or else different quest completion options should unlock depending on what friendship level you've made it to with the involved characters (harder for dev, but more narratively satisfying)

Hi everyone, I need some help with a quest in Palia 🙏
It’s the quest with the two brothers where you’re searching for a treasure in Eldenwood.

The problem is that after digging up the first treasure, the dialogue didn’t trigger at all. Now the quest still tells me to talk to the brothers, but they are no longer there, so I’m completely stuck and can’t progress.

Things I’ve already tried:
• leaving the area and coming back
• restarting the game

No luck so far 😕
Has anyone else experienced this bug? Do you know if there’s a workaround (quest reset, different trigger, waiting for respawn, etc.)?

Palia doesn’t have player-initiated server restarts. Unless you’re talking about daily resets while playing Palia? Like gifting NPCs? If that’s what you mean, it’s at midnight, in real life time

The bloom only appears if there are people on the server about an hour prior it. If you server hop and land on a server that was empty earlier (i.e. didn't have people on it by 11 am in game), then that server won't have a bloom.

Disconnection issues are common in Palia. Formal server issues will be posted by S6. If you see no formal announcement, it's likely a common disconnect error. Player side actions include checking internet connection, and potentially shutting down your system and reconnecting to internet and Palia. Other than that, it's a Palia side issue.

These are just craftable items (the lawn terraces) for you to use for decor.

The bundle requires the Snowy Parasol and the Snowy Pavilion -- these are two separate recipes that you get from the Kilima rummage pile.

Once you have those two specific recipes, you will craft the required number of items and submit them to the bundle.

The terraces are not required for the furniture bundle

The snowy terraces (snowy lawns) -- the ones you have screenshotted here -- are not required for the furniture bundle.

In your screenshot -- you have the normal umbrella and the normal canopy, not the snowy versions. The snowy recipes will have snow on top the canopy and on top of the umbrella.

These two recipes, which are separate, need to be gathered before you can craft a Snowy Pavilion and a Snowy Parasol.

Oh okay yes -- if you're at the sliding puzzle, you'll need to go back to the secret cave. D8 in the Elderwood region. You can go to the Docks fast travel board and then walk down the bridge, and go straight ahead to the gray rocks. The secret cave entrance will be a black triangle-ish shape in the rocks

I still don't have the dang thing either. Someone (Reth?) gives you one for finishing a quest eventually and I was able to save it for the bundle. If you cook with another player who knows the recipe you can get sushi that way also. And the request menu, if you've ever had sushi before at least once

Will there’s milkshake method and it’s helpful too but I haven’t done one in awhile. You leave the natural spawn alone, nobody hits it, that way, lots of fairy mantis will spawn. Just like with the duskwing too, same method. A group of people just finished and ended up with 9 fairy mantis and 5 rtb. I’d say that’s pretty successful and this was done within 2 hours using the milkshake method. Just hope no one scares it away though

Ahem, but anyway, the plush drop rates are extremely low, I agree. Especially when you are playing solo, that's why I like to recommend partying up as drop rates are increased. Even then, it's all RNG and RNG is brutal #1445866314949202012 often has group bug hunting events to join, those do help a lot.
If you find yourself discouraged, try taking a break to do other activities or try different servers out (might be copium on my part, but it's worth a shot to change things up)

Unfortunately(?), to level up your cooking level faster is keeping your focus bar full and joining cooking parties. I say “unfortunately” because there are other players that are a solo type of player or get overwhelmed by it, get anxiety thinking you’ll mess up but there are good hosts that will give you tips and help before starting. It’s how I gotten my skills higher levels is by teaming up with people 😄. Or you can do casual get together, small get together at #💬│lfg-chat and #1445866314949202012

Guidelines for Joining a Party

Can someone help me when people are calling out where silver or copper is, how do I determine where exactly like which map do I go to

you only see the chat for the map you're currently on. if they called out a coordinate like C6 or D2, you can open your map and check the grid to see which part of the map that is. (if you don't see grid coordinates on your map you may need to turn it on in the settings)

Try this:

• Press Esc (PC), Start (controller), or + (Switch) and find the Unstuck Button
• Type /unstuck in chat (in the language your game is set to)
• Open the map and click Return Home
• Use a Hearth Potion to teleport home

technical question: if you craft more than one furniture do you get the same amounth of exp if you were to craft them one by one or do you get less exp? i wanna level up my furtinure skill and wanna know if its smart to craft like 50 camping bowls at once or craft them one by one
(and yes i know that new and higher level recipes give more exp, that's not my question)

As far as I know multicrafting does not reduce the amount of base XP vs. crafting one by one. The only thing is that if you run out of Focus in the middle of the multicrafting, you won’t earn the bonus XP.

These are a quest reward item from Najuma's quest, Family Momento. In theory, Hassain shouldn't ask for this item since it is a quest reward and we cannot get more of them at this moment.

I’m pretty sure these recipes are all messed up. I think the one where you use a medium and get a large is an error. It’s probably supposed to require a large terrace. The other two you get the same terrace you put in, just with snow on it. But the snowball requirement is also messed up because the smallest terrace needs the most snowballs—I think the recipes are backwards.

Let me check it in game, might be a new bug or you did not reach limit of chests before.

If you didn't previously have 8 chests down on your original plot, this is why your storage "shot up" when you placed a chest down on your second plot.

Or, if you picked a chest up from your first plot (and this is the only set you have), it temporarily reduces your storage until placed back down again.

Each plot can have 8 chests per piece.

Type of chest affects your storage capacity (i.e., 8 palium chests = 14,000 storage)

Tried it, limit still 14k like before.

Tried also removing my best chest and placing 2 basic ones, but it counted only one.

So it is likely that the placed chest was within the limit because you picked it up on the other plot or did not place it previously.

You don't need to use the Elderwood Idol relic to finish this quest -- the Elderwood Idol tracks infected items to collect.

The vines can be broken with the items inside of the cave.

Your Palia username is the name you chose for your character when you made the character. It is displayed in the banner at the login screen and in the top left of your screen when in-game

Restart your game, this should resolve the claim button not appearing issue

No easier way unfortunately. Use the loot piles 1x per day and it's an RNG chance at getting the required snowy recipes. Ensure you have the base recipes as well, as the snowy recipes will only show up once you do have the base recipes.
