Your currencies now have their own home!

A new “Currency” subtab has been added to the inventory menu, storing items like Infected Essence, Skill Medals, gold, premium currency, Maji Market Tickets, and more.

Infected Essence will automatically convert from both inventory and storage into a currency and no longer take up storage space.

There's a new tab in your inventory for currencies. Your essence should have transferred there.

Though some people have mentioned that they lost some of the essence in the transfer.

if you have the recipe for Guiding Lantern IV you can request one through the relic crafter even if you haven't received one before. if not, just have to grind elder clam mushrooms until you get one and then you can request another from someone. so do loops of de mer docks/mauvais way, or hunt shmoles.

the drops will go to your News tab. if everything's definitely connected up properly and they're not in your news tab, give it a day or two, if still haven't arrived file a support ticket

i would strongly recommend deleting that screenshot since it contains your email address.

so basically your accounts aren't linked. you will need to make a support ticket and ask support to link your palia account with your console.

you just go to the relic crafter, look at the recipe for Guiding Lantern IV and there should be a little + button on the black pearl which will let you make a request for it.obviously you will need to have bought the recipe for the Guiding Lantern IV with funbucks first if you don't own it already.

I'm a bit stuck with one of the main quest. This is my only main quest, so not interrupting by others. I think I have found all the sacred flower flowers, as I didn't get any more from the shire statue. Also killed the animals I needed to get the Enchanted runestone. Now to buy is not an option anymore. How to go from here?

Not a bug. You either 1) have a Subira quest open (field school) that's keeping the library locked. Or 2) need to wait a little bit/reload the server. We've seen this a lot this summer.

I’ve been having some issues with jumping/gliding after for example looting. Don’t know what causes it, but I’ve found a temporary fix, til next piece of loot is picked up. That is going in the menu and hitting the «unstuck»-button. It never happened before the latest update 🤔 I’m playing on Xbox series S.

There's a key binding issue going on since last update. Many people rebound their keys and it worked fine after that.

Was completing The Nurture of Shadows quest when Elderwood started bugging. Logged out, back in, got everything out of my inv at home. The quest took all my items and essence, put the candles around the infection, and now it just shows that i haven't given anything to Tamala. Put in a help ticket, didn't know if anyone else has seen this

You can try resyncing your date and time through windows settings (while Palia/your platform is closed), and then see if that helps. Otherwise if that doesn't help, support will be able to verify your game files and help your proceed

You can also try sorting your crafting table by "never crafted" and check if it's there that way. That's how I found mine last night

I got a doozy: I've not been able to upgrade my relics since a month or some. Assumed it was a mistake on my part, then waited for the update, but no luck. I have the scematics, I have the runestones, I have talked to tamala and the purple blob, but nothing is prompting me any further. The relic crafting stations say I have no recipies even though I do. It's been like that for a while, anyone got any tips besides sending a ticket?

@gritty jackal If your ranch is full (10 animals, unless you have a higher Ranching level), then extra animals can't be born.

the top bar is telling you to enter the Kilima map to find the characters Ashura and Hodari. ashura is usually at the inn in Kilima or at the river nearby. hodari comes to kilima during the day and then goes to bahari at night. you can find their icons on your map

Ive found the best way for me to get a good start is going around collecting the essence that just sits around and using Tamala’s potions to collect infected plants!! Her potion only costs 15 and last for ten minutes which gives enough time to get a good amount of infected plants!

if you are solo, equip Brighteye Amulet (higher tier is better obviously) and either farm infected trees in a particular area or just wander around looking for anything infected. with max brighteye amulet you can get about 2k per hour by farming trees solo

however essence hunting is always significantly more efficient in a party where you can share relics. one of the most popular ways is doing honey lures in a party at A4.

In order to be able to collect infected essence you need to progress through the main story quests and finish all four temples which will prompt a watcher to visit and allow you to start questing/investigating elderwood and the infected essence

I did just see they have a bunch of reports they are going through at the moment so they could be behind! Playing the 'Keeper of Gales' quest and I found the location but there's no gardener statue there? Is this a known bug? I did the Flames location previously and everything was there and working no problem, but on several separate visits to the Gales room the statue is missing and there's nothing interactable in the room.

They do spawn all day, it seems to be picky about the area you choose though. I've done hundreds of lures since the plushie drop and haven't run into a day where nothing spawned, but some of pals did. I have had some lures spawn none at all, but they definitely spawn all day.

You can follow a video guide for those medallions and then each time you go to a spot, take a screenshot of the chest missing/not there and send those in with a ticket. Player support can progress you forward

I have tried to join a couple of cooking parties on the palia party app, I sign up, add them and when time comes they still haven't accepted my friend request.

At some point almost all your crops will be stared
and stared stuff can be used instead of normal one for most stuff
you can buy most of them from the farm shop if you really want one

After a certain gardening level, all crops are starred regardless of what you use.

You can use starred and unstarred ingredients while cooking by clicking the the option to allow starred crops on the recipe card.

You can only join plots without being friends if that plot is set to public and you can server sync via the plot board.

Sometimes a host may not accept friend requests if they are full or your sign up came late/past the time they said they would accept requests.

You could sync to someone who is attending the party, and then if the host's plot is public, you can go to the plot that way.

OKay, I am having trouble . I have 2 quests for Nai'o "One Majira's Trash" and "Not Hungry" but He is no where. and as I can see neither is his brother.. I have gone al where ever i have read other people have found him with ZERO luck.. any ideas ?

Oh got it, yeah that makes sense.

However, like I said a moment ago: if the 'use starred ingredients' option is clicked on the recipe card all ingredients can be used in the recipe. Even if they don't have starred, they can still use their non-starred items while you use starred items (if that's all you have).

So in this example, your friend should select "use starred ingredients" which will allow them to use their unstarred produce and you to use your starred produce.

The star ingredient is only partially affecting the starred dish outcome. Speed of cooking has a larger affect on starred quality for the final dish.

Yeah I have a real big beef with the pirate treasure quests screwing with the location of two main NPCs for new players. It's been a headache and a half since those quests dropped

I'm doing the prolouge for the game, and put it down for a few days, so I don't remeber what they just said prior.
But the next quest requires planks and bricks, but I don't have a way to craft those, afaik:

Ashura (planks) and Hodari (bricks) can be found in Kilima village at the Inn during certain points of the day. The Palia Wiki lists their exact schedules.

You will make the crafter (sawmill and smelter) at your worktable/crafting bench.

oh weird. when i do it, there will be a good bit spawning but ive never seen one between 6a-3p, only the 3a-6a and 3p-6p windows. ive only done maybe 15 or so lures so idk lol. i will try some more! good to know that people have in fact seen them between those times. thank you!

Ashura and Hodari, respectively. They have live trackers on the map and you can place a marker on them to lock them to your compass and it will follow them until you speak to them
