i'm assuming you're on switch - it's the results screen that causes it. if you enter a hotpot game near the end of the chapaa chase it will skip the results screen without crashing and you'll still get the rewards

There's only one fish in each of these pools. If there is none, you won't be able to cast your line. So you probably have to wait or come back later.

Put this temple on hold. Go and play elsewhere in the world and upgrade your tools. This means fishing until you can get the upgrades from Einar. Standard Rod at fishing Lv 3, Fine Rod at Lv 6, Exquisite at Lv 9.

I've reached the maximum purchase limit for soil plots; but does a second purchased plot allow for more soil/storage to be placed & purchased? Or are you limited in exact amounts, regardless of if you have 2,3 or all of the extra land owned?

SWITCH friends not showing up on list or not receiving friend request.

NOTE - this will only help SOME of you, not all of you. This will NOT help those of you friend capped.

Normally when switch player gets a friend request, it pops up for them immediately, and then there are the times it doesn't. OR there are times, that a switch player sends out a friend request to a PC player, they accept it and see the sender in their friend list.....but the sender can not see the accepted recipient in theirs.

Here's the fix ....unplug the switch from the wall, wait 30 seconds, and plug it back in. Restarting it will NOT work - if you waste your time restarting, the memory goes into sleep mode - keeps your game session even if you are offline, so you end up at square one again.

Fully disrupting the power to the console - stops it from napping, and knocks it the heck out full stop, and when you plug it back in, it forces it to do a full restart - and tada - your people will show up on your list.

sorry folks - I'm wordy and write intending to service the most basic of users, you advanced folks can skim it and get the important stuff you need. 😄

Hello, I want to install Palia on a different disk, but if I download it automatically from Epic Store, it always installs on the same disk. How can I change this?

It is not available on Steam and even if I install it where I want to install it on Epic, the launcher automatically installs the game on my main disk.

I had to delete it because there was no space on the disk and my internet was slow.

There is that option, for example, it installs to D, it starts the launcher from disk D, but the game's own installation screen installs the game to C.

My friend had the same problem and keeps installing the game on the main disk.

Even if I move the game files manually, I can't move them because there will be problems this time.

You can make friends with people and there is a community system, you can join there too. While it is still being developed, it is a community, something like a clan, and there are channels on the discord server for things like food parties, livestock, other mines and wood.

If you place stuff down they can move it but they can't take it or place their own stuff down.

The only multiplayer thing RN is joining parties and communities. When you chop/shoot/hunt you all get loot. Friends can help you weed and water and if you fish near anyone you get a buff where fish bite faster. From what I heard they're planning to add more esp with communities

Oh also you can cook with others, makes it a lot easier

It’s in their bug list on the support site. Best way to bypass without restarting is to jump into a hotpot game before chase timer goes off. You still get chase tickets and get to play another round of hotpot

just run around the rivers so starting at statue garden up to thorny, flooded fortress also counts as a river, river nodes can be very rare sometimes I usually just use a tuning fork and server jump if I can't find any nodes

Use as many star-quality ingredients as you can, and watch for timers on things needing to be tended to while you're at other stations

Try using a couple stared ingredients, and chopping things timely. Also try to eliminate stations one by one (first chop all, than mix all, etc). Also watch the oven because some dishes require to swirl the pan in the middle of the recipe

Money wise, tomatoes > tomato seeds and sell the seeds, I hear raw star cotton (not fabric, they dont have starred versions) is good too

When you lvl up on farming you can buy preserve jar recipes and preserve all your veggies (except tomatoes they're better as seeds)

you can always open up your map to see where the NPCs are at anytime as long as you are in their map. All NPC Schedules are also on the wiki. Ashura specifically is at the desk in the afternoon/evenings. Mornings you will find him at the remembrance gardens or fishing. But yeah Maji Market is a nice way to hit most of the NPC's up all in one spot.

Did Palia ever fix the sync issue? I stopped playing when I couldn't join my friends anymore to do weekly achievements. We would invite each other to sync to server and it always failed. After 3 weeks of trying off and on we just gave up. I really like the game. It made me sad.

yeah in my experience that won't work, it only "saves" the nodes that were on your radar when it expired. while the item is active the radius is 200m, icons will disappear when you move out of that range and won't be on the radar after it expires

thats not true, focus used is always the same, you get a bonus on top of the focus used

the bonus percentage applies ontop of the focus used is what i mean

actually better to increase the bonus percentage first to level up faster (each level gives renown) and then increase the focus max bar, imo anyway

I have been playing Palia for sometime now on pc. I took a break for a month and now I'm back in the chat window is 99% Asian language. I live in Australia not sure what server I'm on maybe Asia Pacific. The problem I have with this that if there are flo trees called or any other group events I don't understand where and what. Also the other day I called a flo in Killima and no one came even tho the server had a lot of people on and I thought that maybe it was because they didn't understand what I was saying. Not sure how I can get around this

yes you will be on APAC servers. only option atm would be to use a VPN to connect to america or EU servers, previously you could just sync servers with a friend from US/EU but cross-region syncing is bugged atm
