If you're asking about gaining money without gardening, there's always hunting/mining/foraging/fishing. They make cash on their own and some of it you could use for cooking parties which would pay well.

If you need vegetables, many of them can be purchased at Badruu's farm. There's a stall that sells them, but you won't be able to get them at star quality.

Apples, Blueberries, and Spicy Peppers though might be difficult for you to get as you need a certain gardening level for peppers, and the fruits aren't available to buy in general. If you somehow get a hold of them, you can get more by requesting it from other players.

there are some recipes where you need the ingredients, yes.. i guess though everything is unlocked when reaching gardening level 10 (which should be quite quick to reach) - don't forget to increase your focus at the shrines and eat focus food to gain faster XP

mostly renown which u can use for raising ur max focus/focus gain at the corresponding statues in kilima and to expand ur housing plot with writs u can buy at the cityhall, there are also some achievements rewarding decorative pieces, the rewards of each achievement are shown in the U tab

You might load into different server instances but through the friends list panel when you press O, you will see a little button under their name (after you’ve added them) and it will say sync to server, just have to make sure you guys are on the same map first. Then you will be able to play together, or like Elvin said you can also party up but the limit is 4 at a time so server syncing is best.

what factors play into foods not being star quality if all star quality ingredients are used where possible

specifically the petit fives, 2 tries, all star quality ingredients, none star quality foods produced

that'll be your cooking level, the hidden buff from that at 25+ (incremental) is the higher you are, the more chance for a starred return

having full star mats though + your cooking level at some point would level off, meaning 100% chance

luckily the fives are the better, mat wise

problem with petit fives is that is uses mostly storebought ingredients which can't be starred, but star quality only increases chances not guarantee, u can get a starred dish with 0 star ingredients as well

From what I see (in general in cooking) the final order when you add all ingredients is important too. Better add everything at the end when is ready than mess the order.

for those that haven't checked - Paliapedia is permanently down. Adain pulled it down due to no communication from s6 (no shocker there) along with a couple other small things. If s6 continues with the little-to-no communication to fan sites that look to support the game, I'd reckon you'll see more and more of those sites going the way of the dodo.

Adain had a great resource for the Palia community (sure, there were some that bemoaned the gathering of data and stuff - but those same people bemoan the same thing on any fan site/database that does the same), but a good majority of the feedback from users was very positive.

Firewall has perms to let game thru. Have no AV installed aside basic windows at this time. Game just fails to proceed to next transition from load screens/login. Have done reinstalled, cleaned out the temp/ prefretch, %tempt% files. Watching Resource Monitor shows the game runs then just flat lines processing on loading screen points.

A good tactic some of us used (I'm unsure if anyone has said it yet) is to mine in Bahari Bay. There's a chance a bug will pop out of the rock/iron that you can quickly catch and it's a guaranteed 1-5 silk thread. Then, if you get some gems, you can sell them to buy whatever remaining silk from Tish's shop register.

The achievements are bugged and specifically Einars pebble achievement is not triggering for many who completed it so they don’t get the the reward. You can find multiples of pebbles or at least used to be able to, but you should only find 1 of each.

I'm not sure if this has been updated in any patch so take it with a grain of salt: there is an achievement centered around tracking your income and it used to only count bin sales, if that matters to you. I imagine theyd fix such a thing though.

You must purchase 3 housing plots/slots. 50k 75k then 100k for all three. This is done on your plot in H mode, top center drop down menu will show the option to purchase a new plot. Free plots don't count sadly! You'll get a free gazebo upon completion.

Okay, so! There are two side parts of that rocky plateu you SEEM to be able to climb pretty high, but energy runs out before reaching the top. The only way me and my friend managed to get up there was using the water jet under where you took this screenshot. It seems somewhat consistent to be able to go higher on the jet than normal if you jump right before the water explodes up. But you still have to get lucky and get FLUNG high to glide down. Otherwise you end up gliding to the rocky outcropping. It SEEMS like you should be able to climb up from there - but me and my friend tried several times and the invisible walls are pretty aggressive near the top.

Also, side note, riding the water jet is kinda fun xD

I think the quests wants to you use focus not gain it. To use the focus you perform any task that gives you XP like picking up mushrooms or wood or hunting a deer etc

their hp reset if they go up a tree, I personally use just slow arrows bcs its the easiest to see and hit

• Mark the star quality ingredient box, and make sure you have more than enough star ingredients required.
• The more, the merrier, even the ones that don't need to be star quality when the star quality box is selected.
• But even though "the more the merrier" don't prep the same ingredients of the same category. For example, don't prep multiple veggies for Chilli Oil Dumpling. Just 1 veggy and the chilli. That is unless you're purposefully doing an overprep cooking party to include more people.
• Try to cook without being at the edge of running out of time. This plays a small role.
• Cooking LVL 25+ gives you slightly more luck.

In the end, it's RNG.

It is less profit bc worming time has to be considered. Since the worming nerf, the profitability of worming is actually lesser unless you're planning to fish with all your worms and then selling those.

Are the Output rates of Glowworms random or set? I put in 9 Blueberry Pies and only got 5 Glowworms the wiki says output is 4 worms per 1 Blueberry Pie. Or am I understanding it wrong? 🤔
