This. It's not just to "just do" every time. Sometimes things clash and the coding suddenly contradicts itself and is confusing.
The game was barely playable some time ago which is why I stopped playing. I come back now and at least a lot of bugs are better than it was before.

Well one thing with SC is that it bring things to the table never before seen in games. even though some have done shortcuts to acquire a similar experience. Palia doesnt really have the same appeal that SC does. Palia has to rely on its enjoyment and fun factor which i think it excels at.

I can't say what made me love it. But I am a guy who loves competition. And somehow Palia got me to enjoy the game immensely without "beating"someone else. To me that stands out as it has me hooked while not having the features I usually prefer

I think bashing on games that other people love so much is a bit "mid" behaviour I'll be quite frank...

I don't think NH is "mid", but it definitely does fall flat in some aspects, but i think a lot of that is due to how quickly support for it kinda... dropped. Which is very unfortunate. They could of expanded on multiple things. QoL, adding some more of the older furniture sets, etc.

There are things in New Leaf that I miss, or think could of been added. (like Tortimer Island, which has minigames that you can play with other folks).

I also very much wish that islanders had a bit more personality rather than saying the same reused lines depending on their personality type.

I still love the game a bunch tho-- just when I play nowadays, i gotta haev some sort of spin or challenge to it and with friends. I wont say much else now tho cuz getting too offtopic whoopsie.

I wish the game let us know what growth stage/day our harvest is on. It’s easy to keep track for things like tomatoes and potatoes but I tried keeping track of apple trees using fertilizer because I thought it used it once per day but according to that logic my trees have eaten up 14 days of fertilizer and still not harvestable 😭

I just made it to see, same as all other recipes tbh. Your first thing to chop is veg, carrots is first in the list but you choose whichever. When you get to meat, your muujin/chapaa/sernuk options appear as normal on the left. So yeah basically click the confirm button when choosing to cook and ignore the crob madness 😄

The shooting is interesting, i often spend a few hours getting used to my bow whenever i upgrade it. I got the final upgrade a few days ago and honestly i prefer the copper/iron one more. The arrow drop on those let me shoot over hills when my prey runs away.
