Apple pie is a recipe you have to find in game. I think it was in Deliha's and Badruu's bedroom. You need to be a certain friendship level.

You either have to have it yourself or participate by doing a step of a recipe while someone else helps. But when you do it that way, you only get the food, you don't automatically learn the recipe D:

Don't worry about a few people who get heated up over the little things, most people are trying to get an RTB plush, hoping for one.. so that would have been the reason.. However Palia has a very friendly community. Don't let this experience depict how you feel about the game. If you see anyone putting lures down, the nice co-op thing to do is ask if you can join in and most of the time other players would say yes.

my experience has been overwhelmingly positive so far, this one was like the 3rd out of 100 ish grove cutting ive done so far so it is fresh in the memory lane kinda just throw it out the window and move on I guess

A lot of things are not explained well in the game and many other things on top of those actual in game mechanics (like player etiquette/unspoken "rules" which are not game rules but just manners and community team-work) so be sure to have patience with yourself and ask a lot of questions! Lots of us Palians pride ourselves on being good helpers- it's on the load in screen after all, "We were all new once!"

The party feature is historcially always one form of borked or another. Are you in a 3/4 ghost party? You can usually workaround this by adding someone online to your party anyway (they need to accept your invite and you need to be the one to invite them) and then it should show up as normal and you'll be able to leave and/or reform one. Try to make a habit of leaving a party before logging off or leaving the map zone you're in, the fairgrounds especially

I've noticed all the animals seem to be glitched, I know exactly what you're talking about. You take a shot and it hits, then suddenly they just vanish.

But if you stay in the same spot and hit them to completion, you will get the loot. I went sniper mode on a bunch of sernuk and chapaa today and that's pretty much how it worked for me.

Generally, the more gold value a food item has, the more worms you will get out of it. You can also recycle the fish you catch and don't need, by throwing them on the grill and putting them in the Glow Worm Farm afterwards.

Plush luck is very difficult to predict because of the way the random number generated chances are created in game. For the snail, as an example, there's a 1/125 chance every time you catch a snail for the plush. 30 snails just isn't a large enough sample size to start getting more "rolls" of that dice of chance. If you're after plushies don't forget we have trading now for them! Lots of folks that would love to help out

But all in all, you're not alone with being frustrated and sad at not getting them more consistently. In my opinion, that's exactly how and why the plushie mechanics were introduced- keep you playing and gambling your time on "the next one might be a plush though!" It's a not-unheard-of way to increase player time and it worked, so they kept pushing out plushies. But they're not going anywhere! You'll always have more chances to get them.

Not sure if it's your phone doing that, but here's the difference. The phone version has softer colors and looks much easier to read, while the first version (original) has a hard to read purple and a neon blue. They pop a bit too much imo.
