shoot every poor, innocent, defenseless deer you see in Kilima. Sell their horns and hides.

Fish. A lot. Use bait if you have it (fish caught with bait are worth more) but if not, don’t sweat it.

While these two ^ are being done, make sure you have some crops growing. Doesn’t matter what kind. Fish and hunt until they’re ready for harvest and rip them out of the ground. Sell them all (or keep 5 each for yourself but sell the rest).

I can use cabbage just fine still in the preserve bins. Worms are eating them up. I don't do the tomato seed thing, I prefer taters for the water boost and to feed my worms along with the leftover cabbages and corns that I haven't used for whatever recipe.

The spawn chances are dependent on rarity, but I'm not sure what the specifics would be on an average time to spawn. If you're going through an area it might help to try and scare off / catch as much as you can before moving onto another area, so that way there's more bugs missing for the game to fill as you catch or do something else in another area. Honey Lures can be helpful for trying to get more rare bugs, but if you don't have any or can't make / request any, you might be able to find someone else using one if you're lucky. Good luck in your bug catching!
