Unfortunately the switch has a much lower capability for the graphics of this game so yeah, on switch there's no flowers like, around the open world and stuff like there is on PC. The friend request tab also has a player request/gifting tab the button is a small present icon, and you can fulfill player requests for items they need. This is limited though and you cannot gift star quality, furniture, and other things like quest items.

To answer your question, yes, textures, buildings, and collisions all have seemed to struggle for, say, about 4 or 5 updates now? The fix is usually loading back home to your housing plot and a good ol restart of your game then the server you end up in after reloading should work (theoretically)

You can grow it but you won't be able to chop it in the recipe itself, that step will ruin your food

You get to the step where you have to chop them, and it does not exist in the steps.

Because you cannot chop those ingredients, it's glitched, it won't let you chop the thing so it ruins the food, aka gives you ruined food (worth 1 gold)

Yeah, the current "draw" to do Maji Market is smaller if you've done it once or twice. It eventually will only be interesting to newer players if they don't keep on refreshing it somehow

The team is aware of the issue with loading from the home plot to Kilima Village and vice versa, and is now working on a fix. As a temporary, but not guaranteed workaround, restart the game multiple times, or travel to Bahari Bay then to Kilima Village.
