It’s not that it’s a serious or competitive game it’s that they want content involving the skills to be equal and not primarily focused on one skill, it’s not a farming sim. Of course you can focus on gardening if you want to ! But the game isn’t revolved around that one skill

just throwing this out there as it is extremely helpful and i havent seen it mentioned before anywhere, but there is a fast switch hotkey you can be using. this is great for hunting the magic muujin solo, or hunting in general. you can also use this setting in SWITCH.

They are talking about balance in the sense that you'd potentially earn more from farming than other skills, so people would choose not to use other skills because farming is so much better.

A very valid feeling. A couple messages above someone just posted how to add a quick switch for your tools, and besides that you could also team up with someone and one person does the task (mining or chopping a tree) while the other has the bug bombs ready to aim. If you're in a party, you will both get the loot for both actions as long as you stay within 30m of one another!

Are you om PC or Switch? If on PC and haven't already done so you can add keybindings to directly select a tool. Still might not make it easy, but may buy a couple extra seconds. I know of multiple people who struggle with this though.

Hmm, are you sure it's not just right at the beginning of the level, so it's hard to see that xp at first? Also, eating focus food and upgrading focus bonus % will help you level up faster. Try reloading your game then mining some more and checking your mining level in your actual character menu before and after some mining to compare. If this all isn't helpful, I'll link support in my next message

• other ways to sort inventory besides alphabetical
• fixing whatever bugs are in the party system
• more free clothing/hair options
• an item that will actually increase the likelihood of finding epic fish for a limited time
• plumehound pet!!! let us give tau friends!!
• more story/character quests obviously
• maybe bring back the holiday furniture in advance to give people time to farm/craft for it
• new recipes

Yeah, the plot is the only interesting thing about this update...a LOT going on that we don't have.

1. The location, could just be another "rolling green fields" premium shop overlay...but also signs are never in that position on every other overlay which is weird.

a. We can move signs now.

b. That sign is in a weird location for that overlay.

c. a new map area for sharing plots? Unlikely, they'd showcase that way more.

2. The placeable terrain pieces are HUGE if they aren't bad. Shame they couldn't bother to add actual staircase pieces because that building block ramp looks cheap and bad.

3. Lots of new prop pieces: new fence, bushes, ferns, stump, log, rock pillar mound thing, mushroom, lots of wooden theme'd clutter items, etc. Still no bushes...RIP.

Well they did say it would be used to trade more than the potato pods .. I took that to mean anything that can be got by other players at the least. But, unless they plan to expand it beyond, it might just be for plushies. Hopefully it will be expanded on though.
But the best way to ensure you complete your collection will be to trade with your friends. That’s right – a trading system is planned for a future update (not currently planned for Patch 0.183), and the system will not be exclusive to Potato Pods! Stay tuned for more deets.
