Hi, I want to rent a VPS for rendering with remotion.

What features do you recommend? Can I use just the CPU? Or does the GPU help a lot? (GPUs increase the cost quite a bit), How many RAM?

And do you know more or less a formula to estimate the rendering time of a 10 min 1080p video based on the PC/VPS features?

most do not need a GPU to render

I cannot give an exact estimation, I recommend to render your video locally in the studio and lowering the concurrency to "simulate" the render times on a VPS

Some types of content in Remotion can benefit from a GPU being available on the machine that is used for rendering.

The cost for rendering one minute of video (with video and custom transition animations) on aws lambda is around $0.1, is this expected?
